Uptown Vancouver is a lively, walkable neighborhood just north of downtown. Known for its historic charm and mix of independent coffee shops, breweries, and boutiques, it offers a small-town feel with urban convenience. The area is centered around Main Street, where you’ll find tree-lined blocks, local shops, and a strong sense of community. Just minutes from the Vancouver Waterfront / Vancouver Farmer's Market, and a short drive to Portland, Uptown blends character, convenience, and local culture in one of the city's most beloved districts.

The basement unit and everything in it are fully accessible by guests. There are stairs in the unit that lead up to the main floor, this door remains locked from the outside and is not to be tampered with for the safety and security of both the guests and tenants upstairs.

As you enter through the private basement entrance, you're welcomed by a spacious, thoughtfully designed kitchen featuring a large island that looks toward a secondary TV near the cozy dining area. A small workspace is tucked into the corner, ideal for reading or catching up on emails. Just around the corner, the open living room offers a comfortable place to relax, complete with a large smart TV for entertainment. The main bathroom features a beautiful clawfoot tub, a walk-in shower, and direct access to the cedar-lined sauna. To the right, the bedroom provides a quiet retreat with its own private bathroom for added convenience.

Public transportation is readily accessible in the area, though the nearest stop may be a short walk away. For added convenience and flexibility, using your own vehicle or a third-party ride service is often the easiest option.

The tenants in the main house do park on the same side of the house where the basement unit entrance is, so you may encounter them from time to time. We ask that you do not approach the main front door.
While the unit is a one-story, you do have to go down a handful of stairs to get down to the basement unit.
There is an indoor/outdoor cat on the premises.
The thermostat is controlled in the upstairs unit, feel free to reach out to us 24/7 for adjustments or special requests.

The home may include a decibel monitoring sensor to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. NoiseAware is a smart home device that measures decibel levels throughout the property. It allows us to respond to noise nuisances without disrupting your stay. Tampering is prohibited.

    Everything was in great shape. I couldn't quite figure out the coffee maker, but hey, there's a coffee shop every other block here. I think it must be a law... Anyway, I enjoyed the place very much. Clean, quiet and very nice.

    Beautiful little place. Nice touch with the brass, glass and wood. It was clean and felt safe.
