Set less than a block from the sunny shores that hug the Gulf of Mexico, you won't have to go far for fun.

Kick back on the soft leather couch, or one of the recliners while you flip through the channels on the flatscreen TV. Grab a brew and head out on the deck to relax, or take a swim in the private pool. Fire up the gas grill or put the open-kitchen to use. With stainless steel appliances and stone counters, cooking for everyone will be a breeze.

When it's time to turn in, this three-bedroom, two-bathroom space has room for up to 10 guests to relax. In the master bedroom, you'll find a queen bed and plenty of storage. The second room also boasts a queen, while the third room has two double beds. If you need more sleeping space, there is a sofabed in the main living area.

Hit the beach to dive into a day of catching some rays, or paddling out into the sapphire blue waters on a rented SUP. You can take a refreshing dip in the private pool, before you head out to dinner at one of the nearby restaurants.

    Our stay at this house was nice. In general, it has everything you would need. Overall, it was nicely decorated, but somewhat dated. The property had very easy beach access and is a quick walk to a local small grocer, coffee shop, and quick restaurant. We could tell that there were potentially some general maintenance that is eventually going to need to be done on the shower, possibly along some baseboards, etc, but it did not detract from our stay. After all, this is the coast. I recommend staying here. We had fun.

    We will definitely be returning. This property was everything we needed for a long weekend getaway. Close enough to walk to the beach, the pool was nice, kitchen was fully stocked. Rooms were nice sized. Washer and dryer a perk for not bringing home wet or soiled clothes. AC was pwrfect for Texas heat.

    We loved our stay at this cozy beach house. The backyard and pool were great, it was a short walk to the beach, and overall we had a great experience. I had two main issues with this booking: 1. Communication with the property manager (Vacasa). We had reached out to them roughly a week before our stay with a couple of questions. One of them was about the “gas grill” that was listed in the description. They waited until 2 days before our booking to get back to us. This house, in fact, did NOT have a gas grill, which was misleading and made us change our dinner plans at the last moment. 2. This house was severely understocked from a supplies perspective. One roll of paper towels, one trash bag, and our biggest gripe: ONE EXTRA ROLL OF TOILET PAPER. In a house that boasts 10 people, I was severely disappointed in this. At this price point, you’d hope for a bit more that that on all fronts. And we ultimately had to make a grocery store run for what I would consider necessities. So the house itself was great, awesome location, great amenities, close to the beach, awesome pool and all that. But I believe the property management company (Vacasa, a large conglomerate of rental properties) is cutting some corners there.

    Family enjoyed our first trip to Padre, home was very nice in a nice area and close to the beach. Only issues were the inaccurate available bedding as stated online, and the fact that the pool rules listed outside said it was not to be used after 10pm.

    Only 1/2 block from beach! Beautiful back yard and pool was perfect! Didn’t realize owners/ or someone lived/rented upstairs but never encountered them other than seeing someone walk upstairs. The unit was very clean and everything worked great!

    The location of the home was fantastic! Parking was tight. Furniture was old, 1 broken bed frame and sofa bed broken.

    We really enjoyed the backyard area. We were 2 families of 4 that came to stay for vacation. The posting made us think this was a 2-story but it is only a one story for rent, the upstairs area is not available to renters/tenants. There is one master bedroom with bathroom attached (bathroom is right next to kitchen — something to be aware of). The tiles were cracked in that bathroom and grout needs to be redone. Didn’t bother us too much but might bother some. The other two rooms are across the living room area on opposite ends of the house, with a bathroom/laundry room in between. We loved the pool, there is an actual little grassy yard with beautiful flowers/landscaping. They had pool toys, a grill, pool furniture and patio furniture. It was a great fit for us and close/walking distance to the beach. Furniture and bedding is a little different than pictured. The living room furniture is a bit run down. Loved the dining room set and the counter area for eating. The house could probably use a few updates/repairs but we really enjoyed it. Also loved the key situation so we didn’t have to worry about carrying around and losing!
