Bright, Open Home with Wraparound Deck & Mountain Views - 2 Miles to Skiing

Great location. The house is nice but the furniture is very dated to the point of falling apart. Master bedroom is misleading. It’s a loft. No doors = no privacy. Master shower curtain should be changed. Years of mildew and soap scum accumulation. More towels needed. Spend a little money on oversized towels. The Dollar general brand are uncomfortable. I had to fix the grill to make it work and the deck needs maintenance. I would not stay again.

Beautiful and comfortable

This chalet is in an excellent location, close to Okemo Mountain with great views and just up the hill from the town of Ludlow. The house is well appointed with bedrooms and comfortable beds for a family or a group. The kitchen had plenty of cookware, table settings, and appliances to cook for a crowd. Hot water and pressure were also above average. We would return if the property manager, Vacasa, was doing a better job. They notified us last minute that the chalet was not cleaned and ready at the agreed check-in time. If substitute cleaners had not arrived and kindly let us into the house while they were cleaning we would have been sitting in our car in the cold for well over an hour. It took two days for Vacasa to try to fix the living room lights that they were told weren't working on our arrival and to shovel snow off the deck and barbecue so it could be used. We never were supplied with ice melt for the very dangerous and icy walkway so we shoveled snow ourselves over the ice so we could walk to and from our car. We requested a call from a Vacasa manager, which we never received. It's a shame but perhaps the owners need to hire a better property maintenance company.

I booked this property for a ski weekend in Vermont. The home is very close to the mountain and was in good order when we arrived. I would recommend this home for anyone planning a ski trip to Okemo.

The house was roomy and comfortable. The kitchen was well outfitted. Definitely need good traction if you are there in the winter. The road up is somewhat steep. The only bad thing is that the toilets could be updated. They are small and low and they leak so that at night, you hear them fill every so often.

This home was great for our group of 6. Excellent location. The kitchen was well stocked and good for cooking meals. However, Vacasa didn’t have the house ready for us - got an email about late check in (1.5 hrs later than we were supposed to check in). Then, once we arrived and unpacked we found the house has still not been cleaned. Not an ideal start to the vacation. House was great, Vacasa not so much. They overpromised on what they could provide during a busy holiday season by having too many houses to clean and not enough staff.

3 adults and 6 kids between ages 3 and 11 were comfortable and great location only minutes from Okemo. Would rent again.

Loved the fact that it was really close to base and really easy to access. Everything worked and the checkout process was super easy. Only issue was that they didn’t clear the ice from the pavement to the door.
