The views were great. The property itself is oddly situated as others have stated, but the house compensates for big hotels right behind it by having the focus on the bay and ocean. When your inside you don't even notice what's behind you. The beds are hard and that was one of the biggest complaints of mine.The TV in the bigger bedroom does not have any cable, so you need a Netflix account if you want to use it. The second bedroom facing the ocean does not have a TV. When you walk in if you are tall you will probably hit the ceiling in the kitchen. My son had to bend down to use the microwave. The half bath is in the utility room it's s a toilet wedged between the washer and the mopsink, its a tight fit. We had to look to find it, and laughed once we did. There were plenty of towels and the house was really comfortable. We loved the two chairs in a little nook off the living-room as they faced out onto a gorgeous view. We would go back again. We thought it was a cute house, I might take a memory foam mattress top as I did not sleep that great, but that's a personal preference.

The host is very communicative. This property is basic and cute, very close to the bay - so convenient for spending time on the beach. The Wi-Fi did not work and the cellular service in this part of the coast is nearly non-existent for many cellular providers.

The view is unbeatable. Gorgeous views from the deck and living area of Netarts Bay. We appreciated the binoculars available so we could spot the deals across the bay! We appreciated having the washer and dryer for our use. Parking a little confusing as the neighboring property tenants had to tell us the parking space needed to be shared with them. The property was fine with us, was clean, had plenty of linens available, etc. but feel the property needs updating as the carpet has stains, paint is peeling in spots, the light fixtures need replacing. We felt unaffected by any of the suggested need for improvements listed above but feel in order to give an honest review, we should include

Breathtaking views.

Although it didn’t have the personal touch of other Vrbos that we have stayed in it had the basics we needed. There was enough dishes and utensils for the two of us but not for a family. We didn’t have the ant problem as described by others and the customer service was excellent with quick personal responses. The bed was comfortable and the view was spectacular! I would recommend getting any groceries needed in Tillamook as the nearby market has convenient store prices. We will definitely be back!!

We paid a premium price for this stay, so our expectations were understandably high, but the property did not meet that standard.The unit showed visible wear and needed maintenance, including baseboards that appeared moldy and the place is in need of repainting. There was also a noticeable musty/moldy odor during our stay.The kitchen was not stocked for basic use, it would have been nice to have had a bowl that would hold both cereal and fruit together and a bowl large enough for salad. They have a kettle, but the bottom looks rusty inside. The chairs facing the windows too unclean to sit in. The bedding setup was incomplete—we did not have top sheets, and the cleanliness of the duvet was unclear. To their credit, when we requested these items, they were provided promptly.There was hot and cold water with good water pressure and the plumbing worked well.Communication was mixed. Requests for early check-in and late checkout received automated responses only, and checkout was set at 10:00 AM, which felt early given the price point and overall experience.This property may be acceptable at a lower price tier, but it did not align with the premium rate charged.

ANTS!! I gave this place one star because I could not give it zero.It was ok, cool spot near the beach, cute store nearby. The place was cleaned oki, but there were a few ants visible in the evening, ant traps behind the couch -we figured since it is near beach and damp, there may be a few ants. We always keep food items in the frige, keep sinks clean, etc.In the morning -ANTS everywhere -in the bed, the bathroom, the window sills, a trail across the floor. I believe that we should receive a refund. There were ants in the luggage that was on top of a carry on! We had to vaccuum out our luggage and put all our things in a hot dryer to be sure we did not have them in our place when we got home that day. Gross experience

It was a great spot by the beach. We enjoyed the view. However, this place is pretty run down and could use some TLC. It says it sleeps six but there’s only 5 forks and 5 spoons…. There was some food left in the oven grates from the last people. While there weren’t any ants in the kitchen, there were ants everywhere in the bedrooms!! Kept waking up with ants on our pillows. The blinds are falling apart as well. It’s great though that it’s within walking distance to the local grocery store. The heat worked well. We couldn’t figure out the DVD player unfortunately. But the streaming services worked. Overall for a beach view and great access to the beach it was great

Great location, beautiful view, decent water pressure, all essentials you need in the kitchen. Dirty dishes, dirty grimy blinds, musty and worn in, and ants. Someone responded quick when we noticed ants in one area and they came to spray. Then there ants covering one of the beds, so one room became unusable for the night. It’s an old well loved house and we appreciate the space being shared. I wouldn’t choose stay here again however.

Awesome location, just what I wanted. Shopping good food to by close by. Laundry in house, heating units looked beachy but worked well. Awesome views. Had couple of issues, which were disappointing. 1) wifi didnt work. Didnt want to spend time there trouble shooting but needed to by day 3. Spent loads of time with wifi provider and determined the modem and line in were shot and needed service. Forwarded communication to vrbs-vacas, wasnt fixed while there. Couldnt speak to a person directly just texts telling me to reboot modem. Extended stay 1 day and after being out fishing for 12 house, cold and dark, was not able to gain entry they prob changed lock combo. Called vrbo, who i booked through, they couldnt see the account, then Vacasa, who also didnt have the account, and then forwarded to a third party who managed, and was on hold and disconnected. Had to pop a window to get in retrieve my stuff. So, nightmare!!! There was no person I could talk to who managed the property for the emergency entry. At one point I was on line with someone in Belize who couldnt see evidence of my account, because the property was a third party owner. So, if not problems, great place, if in a lurch, not sure.

Quin supplied us with a safe comfortable place to sleep, great view, we only used the accommodations as a place to sleep between dawn until dark fishing days

Stunning location, despite old home, we loved it and would definitely stay again.

Such a cute, quirky little place in a quiet little neighborhood (Netarts is great! Much more relaxed feel, instead of some of the busier, touristy areas of the Oregon Coast) with an AMAZING view. Loved sitting in the little sunroom area watching and listening to the ocean. The stairs right down to the beach were great, it was nice to have such close beach access. This had everything we needed for a relaxing couple of days, we had absolutely no problems or issues, everything was clean, if a bit older, but that just added to the fun of the place. Will definitely stay here again!

Lovely view of the ocean! Overall clean cottage with nice kitchen, comfortable front bedroom bed. Two problems: the shower door was off it's track upon arrival and a drippy faucet in the half bath/utility room tub sink. The half bath has a toilet that's difficult for adults to access comfortably. Decor could use an upgrade, However, overall this property is comfortable, a great location, good parking right outside the door. We would come back!.

A rather shabby cabin at the end of a rather shabby street but the shabbiness is quickly forgiven when you see the spectacular ocean view from the deck, the living room, and one of the bedrooms !

Beautiful view from the deck and nice to have an unobstructed view of the bay and the beach. Easy access to the beach as well. Check in directions were clear and the management informed me when the house was available before the listed check in time. Overall, it was clean but the carpet and furniture was worn and had numerous stains. Functional but not comfortable is a good way to describe the place.

This house was just right. It had all of the amenities we needed to make our stay comfy, and it is right on the beach. The house was clean and had plenty of room for my family to sleep and hang out watching a movie and playing games. I would stay here again.

This place has mastered the traditional hand-me-down style of family-owned vacation homes on the Oregon coast. There is nothing nice enough to steal, but most furnishings are adequate. We bring kitchen supplies - a decent skillet or two and sharp knives.

My family came to stay for 3 days and 2 nights for our sons spring break before he heads off to moscow idaho for college. The little house was cute and clean. Beds were comfortable to sleep in. I can agree this little house needs a little love but besides that i wouldn't change anything besides the owners i want to live in it..lolWe use to live in Hawaii so i miss the beach and the ocean really bad so staying here was amazing.

Cute place with a beautiful view. The side door did not shut all the way at first, and didn’t lock. I asked about it and they did send someone over to at least shut it.

Great views, cozy. Couldn’t get the door code to work. Got quick help with that.

The location was cool. When we first opened the front door, we were hit with a very potent stench of pee similar to walking into an unclean elderly care facility. We tried to air it out but it didn’t get better(frog in a boiling pot situation). Part of the stove and dryer were broken so that was disappointing as well. Again, the location and view were epic, but TLC is certainly needed at this property and I wouldn’t go unless they addressed the above issues.
