Bright, beautiful house near the sound & ocean with private pool & hot tub

Clean house

We are familiar with Rodanthe and the homes in the area. Unfortunately, when we arrived at this house it was not thoroughly cleaned, dust build up, bathrooms looked hardly touched, bath tubs drained slowly and the house smelt like throw up/vomit. We had drove from VA to SC to my Father in laws funeral then to Rodanthe for vacation. So we were ready to get there and get settled to relax.On a positive side, the rooms were nice and spacious and the beach is very close and walking distance. But the pool is small and the hot tub access is a burden as you can only access it through two of the bedroom doors that lead outside to the porch area it sits on. The photo online shows the pool area open and well kept up. It does not look like that at all, there is 3 old lounge chairs worn and dingy which we did not use and tree/shrubs all grown up around the fence and onto the patio area of the pool. We love the Rodanthe area and this location is great but improvements can be made to this property in the future.

The location was convenient to both entertainment and the beach

We really enjoyed our stay here. The inside was very clean and ready for us. 5 min walk from the beach was great. The pool is small but good and the hot tub was great. Loved the hammocks and porch swing. The outside had a random loaf of bread on a front porch and corn cobs on a back balcony, and cigarette butts all over the grass and outdoor shower. Staff was made aware and was supposed to send someone out, but I didn't hear from anyone except housekeeping two days later. Definitely recommend bringing your own beach towels and blankets as they don't stock any. Also didn't have kitchen scissors or kitchen towels, which could been helpful as we ate in almost every meal. Overall, good experience!

One thing I really loved was how warm and welcoming the home was, with its beautiful blue color décor, comfortable couches and beds. The couches appeared new, and we loved having the space to lounge and watch movies at night. The bedrooms accommodated everyone in our party! The beds were comfy with plenty of sheets and pillows. There was so much to do at the house, with board games, Pac Man video game, hot tub, swimming pool, fire bit, volleyball net, and hammock (that was my favorite spot!). Very close to the beach, and fun activities to do around the area. I highly recommend this home. We have already made plans to return next summer. :)

House was perfect for our family. Ocean views were great on top deck. Love the quietness of Rodanthe. Walking distance to several restaurants. I was going to book house again for next year but price went up almost 3x times the price for 2025. If that’s the case I’ll rent somewhere else.

Our family had a great time. We loved the hot tub and pool. We also loved the Pac-Man machine and the Air Hockey Table. There were a ton of books upstairs with hammock outside to relax. Super short walk to the beach. The dunes weren’t awful to climb either compared to some other homes we’ve stayed at. Overall had an excellent vacation.

Beautiful location comfy house

The home was the perfect size for our party of 8. The location is perfect - 1 block over from the Pier, with multiple local grocery stores within a few blocks. The home does need some maintenance, as some screens are torn (preventing us from opening those windows which would have been nice!), Blinds broken and disgusting Shower Curtains still hanging,(even though there were previous comments about them) . The biggest issue was that some of the rails on the TOP Balcony are loose - the management company should be checking these on a monthly basis to avoid injuries! Last- who ever they have hired to clean is NOT doing the job - there is food under the couch, under the cushions of the couch, etc. The owner had replaced the broken pool furniture and that was appreciated. Based on how dirty the home was and previous comments regarding this - we would NOT consider renting from this Property Management Company again

Nice short walk to the beach. The local residents near by were very friendly. The area was so quiet and relaxing which is what we were hoping for.
