BREATHTAKING - ETTALONG BEACH RESORT

Great apartment with an amazing view. Check in was simple and easy . Would definitely book this again . Pool down stairs was really nice and location was perfect.

We have stayed at the Mantra at Ettalong many times over the past six years. This time we stayed for 12 nights (October & November 2024). We arrived on a Sunday so the managing agent was closed. They had sent key safe details to what was an incorrect number as it was NOT my number. We faced the likelihood of returning back to Sydney as the phone number on the estate agency was only for office hours. The desk at the Mantra thankfully sorted out what number the code had been sent to so all was finally sorted. The agency staff were nonapologetic citing it was my fault. When we entered the apartment we found the laundry tub stacked with dirty laundry (linen, bedding & towels), also the fridge freezer was unusable as it was just a huge block of ice. I had to spend 40 minutes defrosting it with a hair drier! These apartments returns are astronomical considering their low buying costs (I check real estate prices). The next day I went to the managing agent who was extremely disinterested & had the hide to complain I was unreasonable. Anyway, I stay was okay but the apartment needs some TLC, the kitchen items especially cutlery & glasses appeared to have been bought from the local charity shop as nothing matched! The apartment though small (we usually stay in a one-bedroom apartment (same view), it was comfortable enough. The budget TLC TV was terrible to change channels on though after I adjusted the settings the picture was fine although a small screen. It should be better.

Nice property. Good 7th floor studio unit over looking pool and water. Handy to eats and shopping. Our stay was spoilt by huge family group gathering who took over the pool area for 3 days!

Gorgeous view. Fantastic location, so many places to walk to.

We had a great time. Property was great well kept. View is amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Very prompt service. Could have better experience if stocked well in 1. Kitchen items like sugar etc 2. Bath room items like soap and shampoo They were insufficient for longer stays like 3 nights we had.

the advertisement for the place was exactly what it looked like. had a fantastic view of the beach. loves how the beach was also walking distant from the place. would definitely stay there again!

Property could have been cleaner(attention to detail) ie curtains and cushions and balcony was dirty as well. For the price 1/2 toilet roll didnt go down to well either. Location was great. Check in and out were super easy!
