Breathtaking Beach Front Home Minutes From Historic St Augustine & Restaurants

This is as our second time staying here. It was amazing. We really enjoyed the upgraded bathrooms. This house is prime location to get to the beach.

House location is perfect on the beach with very few people. The house definitely needs to be deeper cleaned, especially kitchen and HVAC vents. The kitchen could use some nicer and additional dishes/utensils for guests who cook. Overall the house needs to be updated, exterior needs cleaned up, it's very dated and wall facing ocean needs some attention. Rust coming from outlets is not a good sign. Owner was very helpful with dishwasher not working and faucets not working properly. Thank you! Stove is missing a control knob, so only 3 burners are useable. Location, location, location!!! Probably won't rent this house again, but area is beautiful.

This house was everything and more, the bathrooms are top of the line, marble floors, gold fixtures!! The entire house was very clean, the kitchen has new stainless steel appliances, I could go on and on about this house…..but you should plan a stay to see for yourself!! You will not be disappointed. I forgot to tell you that it is directly on the beach!

I have been renting in Vilano beach for over ten years and have never left a bad review but I think people should be aware of the problems with this house. First…it smells bad throughout. Kind of a sour musty old smell. There is not enough flatware, dishes, utensils or serving dishes. The kitchen pantry had multiple brooms and cleaning supplies (toxic) just thrown in where there was food. The closet on the ground floor was filled with a mess of mops,brooms, buckets and cleaning supplies just thrown in haphazardly making access to the towels difficult. The towels felt damp and smelled musty I spent an hour straightening it up . . The closet in the second floor bedroom was again stuffed with numerous containers as well as baby items thrown in on top of each other. The “in-law suite” on the ground floor is old, damp and smelly …the whole area is uninviting. The master bedroom is spacious but the rug is stained, the furniture old and worn. The bed sheets were ill fitting and cheap. The grill was broken, gross and unusable. There were no adult beach chairs, no working umbrella. There were left over building supplies scattered near the patio and on the side of the house. There were uneven blocks laid piecemeal that comprised the patio. The entire place seemed as though they had just thrown it together . . Oh another rather peculiar thing… the floors always feel sandy and gritty. …no matter how much you rinse before coming in, due to the lack of good rugs

It's a beautiful very nice house. The view of the ocean cant be beat. Walking on the beach and there is so few people around is so nice. At the end of the week we were there we wished we could be there for a month. Will rent this house again. What a pleasure!

We really enjoyed our stay. The multiple decks overlooking the ocean…. the beach as our backyard. The sunrises over the water, our granddaughter playing. Just beautiful.

We decided to make a very special Thanksgiving for our 80 year old dad. We wanted him to see the ocean and make lovely memories for the whole family. We saw dolphins, watched the sunrise each morning, played games. The house is a perfect layout, bathrooms are gorgeous and the kitchen is large. It was an amazing experience and would stay here again. It might become our family’s new tradition. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Stayed at the house the week of Milton and I was sad to have to check out early because the house was nice and right on the beach! Fully stocked with everything you would need. The property manager was friendly and understanding and allowed us to cancel late due to the hurricane. I would stay here again!!

My family and I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful beach house! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained the home was. It had everything we needed and more, making it easy to settle in and relax. The location was unbeatable—just steps away from the beach with stunning views of the water, and close to wonderful shops and fantastic restaurants. The hosts were incredibly attentive and made sure everything was perfect for our stay, ensuring we felt welcome and comfortable. We spent our days enjoying the pristine beach and clear water, and it was the perfect spot for our family getaway. We can't recommend this place enough and are already looking forward to returning for our next vacation!

We had the most amazing and relaxing time at Casa Pelicanos! The house is very accommodating and had everything we needed including the most amazing bathrooms! There were beach supplies available for my kids and we all enjoyed swimming in the ocean all day and then watching movies together at night! Perfect stay and had everything we needed and PM was very helpful as needed.

The property is exactly as pictured! The downstairs apartment is so convenient for those who are traveling with you and want their privacy (grandparents, couples, etc). The open floor plan on the main level offers tons of space for everyone. We had a party of 4 and really appreciated the spaciousness! Location to the beach cannot be beat! So close to the house you don't even need to cart a cooler, just run up to the house for anything you need. We have stayed at four different beach houses through the years on Vilano Beach and this one, by far, exceeds them all! All the beds were comfortable, beach towels were available for use in the laundry closet, there were some beach toys under the balcony at ground level that were left from other guests. However, bring your own beach chairs and umbrella, those are not provided. Location to downtown St. Augustine is less than 10 minutes away. Definitely try Vinnie's pizzeria over the bridge, it's far better than the pizzeria next to Publix and stays open longer!!!

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful beach home for the second time. Absolute wonderful location and couldn’t be any closer to the beach. They’ve upgraded two of the bathrooms and have gone above and beyond beautiful. We had a minor issue with the hot water heater and within an hour someone showed up to fix it. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for the perfect vacation getaway. My husband and I look forward to our next stay.
