“Breakaway Holiday House”
Situated right in town in beautiful Streaky Bay, this very comfortable, air conditioned 3 bedroom holiday home has almost every modern appointment. Set up to sleep up to 8 people (adults and children). Two bedrooms have queen beds, and the third has two double bunks. Each bedroom is newly carpeted and has ceiling fans for added summer comfort. All beds have pillows and dunas, and guests can choose to bring their own linen or hire ours ($40/stay. P

Stayed Dec 7, 2025Very peaceful and relaxing, and close to everything in Streaky Bay. The house had everything we needed and we lived our stay.

Stayed Jun 22, 2025Place was not clean. Washing machine had been used to wash dog beds or similar. TV did not work. Owner not good at communication. After washing machine was cleaned by cleaner owner promised renumeration for inconvenience. Despite us sending text after text they were ignored. AVOID.

Stayed Apr 13, 2024Breakaway Holiday House was a great place to spend a few days in the lovely town of Streaky Bay. The house is old in style & has a few squeaky floor boards, but this adds to the charm of the house & the holiday feel. The location of the house is wonderful, only a short 3-4min walk into town & the foreshore. The house is comfortably furnished, clean and a well equipped kitchen. There is plenty of space to park and an outside seating area. If we were to return to Streaky Bay, we would love to stay at Breakaway again.
