This cozy retreat is located just a gentle 4-block stroll to the heart of Brevard, NC with its many restaurants, shops, and breweries. Bracken Bungalow is also close to the Brevard Music Center and other music venues.
With almost 350 waterfalls across the state, more than 250 are in Transylvania County alone, with Brevard as the county seat. Known as the Land of Waterfalls, this area puts visitors within easy access to the waterfalls and is known as a hiking and biking mecca.

Stayed Jun 6, 2025We loved staying at Bracken Bungalow!It is a cute Arts and Crafts home that has been renovated and has a lot of local art in it. The location was perfect. Very close to downtown and the Brevard Music Center. It was very clean and comfortable. And we saw a White Squirrel across the street!

Stayed May 28, 2025My son was attending the Brevard Music Center for the Blue Ridge Guitar Camp and I worked while he was in classes and sessions. It was such a treat to have to have the front and back screen doors open to hear the wind chimes and feel the breeze coming through. The immediate neighbors live there full time and are friendly. It's a quick drive to hiking and waterfalls and wonderful places to dine. I am grateful to have a beautiful and comfortable place to visit.

Stayed Aug 18, 2024House was exactly as pictured. Very clean, great use of space and wonderful neighborhood. Close to restaurants and extremely well stocked kitchen. Sidewalks and proximity to downtown make this a great place to stay and a fun walkable vacation.
