It is not hard to see how Arthur found the inspiration for his stunning landscape pieces when you soak in the views of the Shoalhaven from either the top floor, the beachside deck or the “lounge platform” perched on top of the dunes overlooking the beach.

Whether you are coming as a family, couples or for a romantic weekend escape, Boyd’s Beach House is the perfect, secluded get away all year round. Your home away from home. Simply step inside, make yourself at home and enjoy the serenity.

Culburra Beach is a dog friendly beach. We are therefore a pet friendly property. Bring your four-legged friend and enjoy kms of unspoilt sand to run and play on. Please note: The sandy path to the beach can be a little steep for those who are not as agile.

With 3 queen beds across three separate bedrooms there is room for up to 6 guests. The house is split level with decks off each floor and a number of stairs between each level. The master bedroom has a private ensuite. There is a large open plan living with vaulted ceilings and an abundance of natural light. For the colder nights, enjoy our wood burning slow combustion fire with a good book and a bottle of red.

The kitchen is well appointed with dinnerware, stainless steel pots and pans, sharp knives and glassware. Grab some of the South Coast’s fresh local produce and cook up a storm.

Just under 2 hours out of Sydney and with the convenience of Nowra 15min away, Culburra is the ideal weekend or holiday escape.

3 x Queen Size beds all of which are made up with quality linen, bedding, fixtures and fittings. Just walk in and relax.

The master bedroom retreat has its own living area and en suite with shower , toilet and basin and large flat screen TV..

The second bedroom has its own private deck. The third bedroom has built ins.

There is also Foxtel, Netflix and Wifi in the house.

Wood burning stove in winter; cross breeze, fans and multiple sunny and shaded areas to choose from in the summer

The upstairs sun-room is equipped with a sofa, cushions and throws . A room to relax in.

Or the iconic painting platform - now an outdoor seating area is a perfect morning coffee or twilight wine venue.

Please note that we are pet-friendly by prior arrangement. We expect dogs to be toilet trained, and to be kept off the furniture. While the property is not fenced around the perimeter, the house is dog friendly and we do have a fenced off area for your pooch to relax in. Guests are asked not to leave their dogs unattended in the house for long periods of time. And remember, the dog-friendly off leash beach is at your door step.

All linen and bath towels are included.

Activities

Just take your towel and follow the path on to the golden sand beach before breakfast, and come back to the house for an outdoor shower, hot or cold. Sip on coffee on Arthur Boyd's painting platform with breathtaking views across stunning Culburra Beach, & you may spot the dolphins.

Nearby Crookhaven inlet and Greenwell Point are ideal for fishing and for the one who is not catching anything, there's delicious Award winning fish & chips at Greenwell Point and a scrumptious seafood restaurant too.

Lovely destinations nearby are Currarong with Bosom's Beach - dog friendly.

On the way there, Honeymoon Bay is secluded and great for snorkeling & diving.

Jervis Bay is nearby for a day's outing with shops, beaches and cruises for whale watching in season.

Culburra has a Woolworths store open 7 days a week for all your needs. It is situated just behind the shops on the main road. There is also a sensational fish and produce market in Nowra called Nowra Fresh, open every day!
