Bourbon Trail Lakehouse

Clean, great location, fully equipped kitchen, nice neighborhood. Woukd definitely recommen!

The owners have done a very nice job of renovating a dated townhouse.With the exception of an unusable deck chair there furnishings were quite comfortable although the kitchen needs a few more place settings. Five settings and one teaspoon are simply not enough. The biggest shortfall was the stairs and the entryway. Very steep with narrow steps and the front garden is horribly placed. Simply a bad design.

It was an enjoyable 2 night stay with everything we needed. I appreciated the quiet neighborhood and the bedrooms being upstairs. The lake was lovely but it was too cold for us to actually sit outside. The kitchen was great and well located. Very comfortable and glad we stayed there! Thanks!

House was very clean and just as advertised. The deck overlooking the lake was great for morning coffee and evening drinks (very relaxing)

The cold weather put a little twist on our plans but fortunately this was a nice place to hangout inside together. The home is comfortable and had everything we needed.

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed here. It’s a great location, clean, quiet and a great layout Loves sitting on the deck overlooking the lake for morning coffee and evening cocktails.

Since this was rated a 10 exceptional, we had high expectations. Needs some love...kitchen rug is a tripping hazard, posted as a non smoking property, but there was a definite old smoke smell, could be in the old stairs carpet or the walls. UpUpdatedpaint

The townhouse was conveniently located—a quick drive into downtown Frankfort and nearby distilleries. Cute décor and well-equipped kitchen. Would recommend to others coming to the area.

Exactly what we needed. Our trip was only my girlfriend, dog, and I, and specifically for the Bourbon Trail and the Lakehouse was perfect. Very clean and quiet and more than enough space for us. Also in a convenient location with a nice overlook of the lake to enjoy a coffee or stiff whiskey. Would definitely stay again if we're back in the area.

We loved this perfect little townhome that was great for two couples in town for bourbon trail. It was clean and cozy!! We will be back!

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend for our first visit to the area. Everything was as described. Clean and very quiet. Washer and dryer were a plus. Kitchen well stocked with new cooking pans. Didn’t hear the neighbors at all. Will definitely come back!

Just as advertised. House was clean, beds were comfy and plenty of hot water. Very convenient to all necessities in area.

We travelled to spend Thanksgiving with family. The location of the property was excellent, it was well furnished, well kept and the beds were excellent--that is actually a little unusual in our experience. It was also very easy to get in touch with the owner who also responded promptly. Finding a pet friendly property was what made this trip possible.

Great communication with the host and a very clean place. We didn’t realize that it was an attached house so there wasn’t much privacy on the deck, and the furniture out there was pretty beat up. However it was very quiet and a residential neighborhood near the highway.

Very clean and everything we needed was there. Recommend for anyone traveling in the Louisville/Frankfort area and those touring the Bourbon Trail.

Very convenient location to travel around the area to the different distilleries or about 30 minutes to Lexington. Would definitely stay here again. Unit was clean and very quiet
