Positives: very spacious. Many sleeping options for family. Large dining area and living room. Yard for dog. Walk to boulder bay park. Clean upon arrival. Staff very attentive to texts and calls. Negatives: spa did not heat above about 90 degrees. Could use attention/troubleshooting. Setting was to 104 the entire visit. Directly on big bear blvd so road noise is audible. Concern for kids and dog crossing street. No entertainment for kids (no games or pool table or foosball or similar). No TV downstairs. No dishwasher. Downstairs shower head can be replaced. Very poor cell phone reception. Thank you to big bear cool cabins for a very nice visit and for your attentiveness and always picking up the phone we always check your website when we come up to big Bear and have never had a bad experience.

The staff was phenomenal and the cabin's location was great. The only issues that we experienced were more of the creature comfort variety. There was no washer or dryer, which is a bit problematic after a day (or multiples) on the slopes and in the snow. There was also no dishwasher, which assigned time doing chores after every meal. There was also no designated Master Bathroom attached to any of the bedrooms. Also, not a huge deal if you are with a smaller party but it was a little inconvenient even with a party of four. All-in-all, we had a great time and would highly recommend using Big Bear Cool Cabins for your Big Bear getaway.

The best it’s the location and the lake view, everything else was just ok, I was expecting more for the price, when we enter there was a drain smelling, it went away with hot water, also the cleaning it’s only superficial, we found Easter eggs and candy wrap, my wife got allergies because of the dust, there was not clear instructions where to find the entry key, they said mailbox, there is not mailbox there, we ran out of propane when we were barely starting using the grill, the good and impressive part was that someone brought a full tank in a short time after I texted them, another disappointment was that at the end a had to carry the trash bags in my car to the bins that are located a mile away, how is that they cannot send someone to pick it up after checking out? I think that should be part of the service, anyway the Jacuzzi was clean and works properly, I think cool cabins management has to put a little bit more attention to the cleaning and customer service, but as I said, the house itself it’s great

The back yard is amazing! The kids had a great time exploring!!! Overall, we had a good time! There was dust and cobwebs! Plus, the kitchen needs more pots and pans! We brought quite a few and we're thankful! The only other negative is no washer and dryer on site. Like I said, overall, we had the best Thanksgiving ever!

Well, this was a great stay for our group of 10, however....there was no propane in the grill, place settings for 8 and not 1 steak knife (but Cool Cabins arrived on day 2 to remedy all...thanks). We checked in Thursday at 4:00 and Friday at 10:00pm the hot water heater died and we didn't have hot water for the remainder of our stay (checked out Monday)...they gave me $500 refund (which seems really low) to have no hot water for more the 1/2 my stay and 10 people taking cold showers and no hot water to wash dishes... The house was really nice, love the dining table that fit all 10 of us...it was so crowded in Big Bear, the road noise was really loud and traffic all day was insane right outfront the door. The power went out for 6 hours on Saturday which also didn't go well for traffic (lights out) and getting anywhere was a nightmare in the car....all in all, good trip but not the peaceful mountain/lake retreat we were looking forward to. Next time definitely won't stay right on Big Bear Blvd.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It is directly across the street from the lake where you can rent kayaks or go into the water from a small beach area. Note that the house is located on the busy main street but that didn't bother us. The actual house has so much space and comfortably slept a family of 6 and could have slept many more. We stayed there during COVID and the house was clean upon our arrival. Thank you.

We really enjoyed being in this area. the park across the street was great for the dog and for the 3 year old to go and hang out. Also when relaxing on the deck we love to people watch. Everything was great. we wish the front yard was not so close to the highway. but over all a great experience.

Our experience with this company was terrible. They are rude and so no interest in their business. It shows in dealing with their employees and the condition and cleanliness of the property they manage.

The house was really pretty and very clean. Loved the backyard but gate was locked and we couldn't get to trail as easily. But it was still a great weekend.
