Botham's Beauty - Blenheim Holiday Home

A beautiful property 10 mins out of Blenheim. Was a good location for work colleagues to relax after a full on day in the office, good layout, plenty of space for all to relax. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, nicely decorated and very peaceful. The gardens looked great, could not get out and enjoy due to being June and only home after dark. Would be very enjoybale in Summer. Positive feedback - There was not a property folder so needed to contact the agent a couple of times to check for wifi codes. The house was very cold when we first arrived (it was frosty outside), the log baskets next to fire were both empty and had to go hunting for wood. I located in the barn, got the fires roaring and the house warmed up quickly but would have enhanced first impressions if the house was warm or ready to warm. All minor issues but with a premium house these little things go along way to enhance overall experience. A property guide would have been greatly apprecited to advise the above and where things could be located.

Great property for our USA visitors who enjoyed the horses out front too

Just outside of Blenheim. Very quiet. Large bedrooms. One with en suite bathroom, other bedrooms had to go down the hall to get to the bathrooms. Nice kitchen, pretty well equipped, and with an outdoor grill which was great.

What a total surprise to find in the Marlborough region, a large house with separate accommodation for two if required. I say this was a total surprise as there are no real Hotel options or alternatives locally in such a central position that would've been comparable for comfort. We were there for one reason, wine tastings (which also didn't disappoint) and this house seems to be absolutely ideally positioned. The house was fresh and clean with the photos online depicting exactly what was seen. If anyone is looking for a base to stay while visiting this area look no further. We will definitely return in the future.

A few problems first? Shame that 2 of us tripped on the front step, the top step is taller than the others, a remedy would be to install hand rails either side?. A heater towel rail has wires poking out. Only 2 rooms have mirrors, ALL rooms require a mirror. All double beds had towels for ONE person. A chair in the bedrooms for comfort ? Overall delightful, clean, adequate facilities, plenty of space. The outdoors area are a delight, I shall return another day? with friends.
