Good place to stay close to Kyoto. Plenty of space for a family of four. Host provides very generous quantity and quality of necessary supplies, such as tea/coffee, towels/napkins/TP, even a large bottle of olive oil and full box of culinary sea salt. Good quality bedding, plenty of towels, etc (well, plenty of everything). Location is good for someone with a car: short drive to Kyoto (less than 10km to Kyoto Goen, for example). Even shorter drive to Otsu. Overall, pleasant stay. Will stay again
