Boothbay Maine three bedroom house

Private, peaceful house within a short drive to Boothbay Harbor and Damariscotta and beyond. First floor bedroom and bath was perfect for grandma, and plenty of beds upstairs for the rest of the family to find a good spot. Fully functional and well-equipped kitchen. We had lovely weather to enjoy the deck, and room to relax apart or together in between our outings.

Oven was dirty with grease in the bottom. We would have started a fire in the oven or had so much smoke the smoke alarms would have gone off if we had turned the oven on before looking inside. The kitchen had high end appliances and beautiful.Dead bugs and mosquitos inside.Mosquitos so bad outside we unable to enjoy deck.The grill on the deck had leaked substance on the floor of the deck. Citronella candle was spilled on deck.While taking a shower in the upstairs bathroom, the main floor ceiling had water dripping from the ceiling onto the floor.The gentleman living underneath in his apartment assisted us in contacting the owner. The owner was very concerned about the leak. He was unable to get a plumber during our stay. We were still able to use the sink and flush.I contacted the owner by text and told him he needed to fire the people who were cleaning his property.

Kitchen was well stocked with everything. We had lots of room for 6 people . I was under the impression there was a washer and dryer , there was not. There was no shampoo or conditioner 1 hairdryer for 2 bathrooms & we reused towels as there would not have been enough for our entire visit. Fireplace had no propane citronella candle was spilled over an outside end table & there was only ONE way in or out of the house . Outdoor balcony had no exit off in event of fire. No instructions on trash removal TV guide etc. No spare blankets a few spiders and cobwebs and mosquitoes. Loved the location close to many places we visited

The propery was just right for our stay since we were doing daily trips to visit nearby friends and relatives.

Great stay for a weekend in Boothbay for a wedding. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for the weekend, plenty of towels, all the kitchen essentials, and baby gates to keep the little ones and the dog from the stairs. Would rent again if we travel to the area.

Very beautiful and well kept home! Owner was very responsive and helpful. Easy to get to all the local spots!

I give this an excellent rating with just two caveats. The bedrooms could really use light darkening curtains, especially for the summer months, and the beds are good, but only if you don't need a firm mattress. Other than that, we found this to be an excellent place to stay. Clean, large, well-stocked, quiet, around halfway between Damariscotta and Boothbay Harbor and about the same distance to Wiscasset. Edward was a very good host and was responsive to the one problem we had.

Loved this property, was perfect for a long weekend getaway with two dogs. Plenty of space, and a large yard. We had some difficulty getting into the house when we arrived, but the Host immediately saw my message and helped troubleshoot with us.

We stayed for the weekend to attend a family wedding in Wiscasset. Edward's home was comfortable for our entire family of 7 plus our dog. Clean. Spacious and close to Wiscasset and Boothbay Harbor. Kitchen has everything you could possible need. Edward responded to all questions within minutes. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Edward!

The place was nice and clean but there was only i wash cloth for four women and is located way out and at dark the road id very hard to find other than these small things the house was lovely

Private property, clean, WELL stocked but was bummed to not to find a hot tub, which was one of our selling points! Overall had a great time & would book again.

We had a quick stay in Boothbay for my husband’s birthday. This house was adorable and perfect for us. The house was clean and well stocked. Truly appreciate all the extras- cleaning supplies, spices, coffee filters, paper towels and plenty of T.P!!!definetly would stay here again!

This house was perfect for our 2-couple stay. The location of the house is a little more remote than I had imagined. We had absolutely everything we needed in this well stocked rental. We do suggest getting a container to put the outdoor furniture cushions in. We were excited to use the large deck, fireplace and outdoor table but all the cushions were saturated and never dried out while we were there. Good communication with property manager. Don't hesitate on this rental. We would stay here again if ever back in the area.

The house was very lovely. Very comfortable and homey. The kitchen looked well stocked to do your own cooking, but we ate out. I would highly recommend this home for your get away.

We stayed here with family traveling in for our wedding and were absolutely blown away by the care and details that went into making this place feel like a home away from home. The place was spotless and the beds were cozy but what impressed us most was the kitchen. An extensive spice cabinet and tons of kitchen tools (in good care, not the usual extra dull knives in most places) made it feel like a place you could really spend time in and make your family's favorite comfort food before eating around the giant table indoors and out. Wish we couldve stayed longer to enjoy the outdoor areas!
