Stayed Dec 26, 2025Not suitable for winter or families to enjoy. Heater is ineffective and the home was very cold, the host controls the thermostat. Listed amenities were not provided. The guest bathroom shower handle was stuck on hot and could not be shut off, causing heavy moisture and condensation dripping from ceiling. The other bathroom toilet leaked onto the floor.The listing is also misrepresented: this is not a 3-bedroom—it is a 2-bedroom with a loft containing only a couch and TV you walk thru to get to actual bedroom. We arrived at 8:00 PM, were asked to cancel and departed at 1:30 PM after being promised we’d be refunded, which never happened. Lake view is one tiny sliver-hugely disappointing! Host Amy called us a liar, accusing us of trying to get a free night stay after ruining our families Christmas getaway when Vrbo tried reasoning with her.
