Bluff top home with expansive views

I stayed here with 9 other folks for a week. It was great to have a place where we could all stay together and be spread out enough while in the same space. There was enough room at the table for us to all eat together. The two fridges and lots of counter space and kitchen supplies made group meals a breeze. The host was quick to respond to all questions before booking, while preparing for the trip, and while staying at the house. Unparalleled views. The house is undergoing some repairs, one of the freezers leaks into the fridge, and there was some damage to walls and chairs before our arrival but that did not impact our stay. One improvement that was made before we arrived and I hope gets added to the listing - the Eagle room, I believe it was called with three beds, now is connected to the rest of the house so is heated. That was a big plus.

Great space, views, great big dining room table for meals, playing cards/games, nice number of bedrooms for our group of 8 womenWe were struggling with the temperatures, (March) the basement was very cold and we couldn’t find a thermostat that worked for that area, the fireplaces were controlled by an app on the owners phone, that didn’t do us any good, the large oven didn’t work, coffee makers were filthy and there was a pod left in the Keurig so luckily one of our gals checked it out so we had time to clean them up so we could have coffee in the morning, also the deck seemed very unsafe, and it seems to have been in renovation for some time

Great space, very accommodating host! The place is in the middle of a remodel so there’s a few things that are under construction. We had 16 people and everyone was very comfortable.

Tremendous views and a responsive host. Lots of space. Great central areas to gather. It is a house that is being renovated and those renovations are both good and obvious. Lots of little things are in process of being fixed. Nothing unsafe… just good to know depending on what you want from this place. For us it was great.

House has been updated since the photos, it was much better than we thought. There is a golf course across the street, and very limited parking. The garage is a workshop to update the house. The view speaks for itself. There is a fire pit in the front yard and also a patio table and chairs.

We recently stayed at this property with a large group for a wedding, and it was a great choice in many ways. The views are absolutely stunning, the location is excellent, and there was plenty of space for everyone with lots of sleeping options and bathrooms, which made it very comfortable for a group of our size. The host was wonderful to work with—very responsive and accommodating—and even let us check in an hour early since the house was ready, which we really appreciated.That said, there are a few things to be aware of. The home is clearly in the midst of ongoing renovations and will be gorgeous once it gets a bit more TLC. We were traveling with two small children, which made some of the safety concerns more glaring. Some of the issues we encountered included an electrical outlet right outside the front door that was loose and popping out, spiral stairs to the lower level that were not fixed to the ground (instead propped up by a rock and piece of wood), and some broken chairs upstairs along with a couch downstairs with a big hole in it. Overall, the property has incredible potential, and with a little more work, it could be truly exceptional. We would suggest updating the listing to make travelers aware of the ongoing renovation so guests can plan accordingly. For now, it’s a great location and spacious option, especially for larger groups, as long as you’re aware of the current renovation aspects.

The layout of this home suited the needs of our family. The views were spectacular. The home was in the process of being renovated. We were not made aware of that. One mouse was spotted in the basement bedroom. The outdoor grill was difficult to light and was dirty.

The house needs a lot of finishing. It is a work in progress. There were not 6 rooms like it said and we needed so one of our team slept on the floor in the family room. The left oven does not work. It is a really amazing view!

Fifteen family members gathered for the holidays. We enjoyed the many spaces to spread out and play games. We loved the new gas fireplaces and large picture windows with amazing views!

Many things were wonderful about this place. There were a few minor disappointments though. Loved the dining room table and the views were unbelievably great. The rooms were very spacious with the exception of the master bath. It would have been nice had one of the bathrooms had a walk-in shower for all of us were seniors and stepping into a tub to shower was hazardous. We had 4 eagles that flew just outside our windows most of the day Saturday. They were awesome! We realized that they were doing some remodeling, and should they add some walk=in showers we would highly recommend this place and stay there again.

We had 15 adults stay for the Flood Run. Lots of space

Amazing house to accommodate our group of golfers. House was right on the course and had amazing views over the river.
