Bluebird Day - Star Cottage: Cozy 2BR home in scenic Bend, OR, Hot tub, Bikes!

Nice accommodation, hot tub was very nice and area was walkable.

Great location and easy to get to downtown. Owner very responsive when we had a question.

This property is adorable and was much beloved by the whole family. My sons enjoyed the attic room with the mysterious closet entry! It is in a very walkable area close to market of choice and Starbucks. Beds are cozy. Very charming.

The Bluebird Day-Star Cottage was an exceptional home base for our Bend adventure. The property is impeccably maintained, communication was timed perfectly and every inch of the property was super clean upon our arrival. Check-in was a breeze, which we truly appreciated after our travel day from Indianapolis.The location on Northwest Hill Street is unbeatable. We were within a very short walk to Fat Tony's Pizzaria and could easily walk to the Old Mill area, Hayden Homes Amphitheater or downtown spots like Pine Tavern, Deschutes Brewery, Watershed Coffee or the McMenamins Old St. Francis School. It served as the perfect central hub for our excursions to Sisters, Smith Rock State Park and the Deschutes River Trail.What truly sets this adorable Yellow house apart are the thoughtful amenities. Having bicycles included was a highlight and after long days of hiking at Tumalo Falls or Misery Ridge, coming back to the option of relaxing in the hot tub or just enjoying the beautiful yard. This cottage provided everything we needed for a seamless and memorable stay.

The Star Cottage was wonderful in every way. The location is great, central to everything we wanted. The cottage is well laid out, lovely, a well equipped kitchen and comfortable furnishings. The yard was perfect for us and the dogs. Thank you Bluebird Day for such a great experience.

This place was great! It’s small but clean and well maintained. The backyard is huge for kids and dogs. Great location. Walkable to Market of Choice and bikeable to both the Mill and Downtown. Our family of 5 dog had a great long weekend getaway.

The host let me check in early, so I could work. The place was adorable!

Charming cottage with a great location

We had 5 adults and 2 dogs. We all enjoyed the property and how close it was to everything. Highlights were private back yard, nice grill (we used it alllot). Beds were comfortable we did not under stant attic beds are through a bedroom closet. Great stay great fun. My only complaint is the bikes were not in good repair.neededair seat moved around on one and handlebar wound not stay up on another so we gave up on them. Would recommend staying here!

Comfortable little cottage in a great local!

We loved our stay at this cute cottage. The house was charming and clean. The location in the Old Town district was perfect for walking to restaurants in the evening. It was in the low 90’s during our visit and the air conditioning kept the house nice and cool!

The home worked well for us. It is close to downtown and the old mill district so walkability was amazing.

We had a wonderful stay at Bluebird Day - Star Cottage! The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway with our family. Our kids loved the playroom upstairs. The location was perfect, close to local attractions yet peaceful and quiet. The host and property manager were very responsive. We’d definitely stay here again!

Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Especially enjoyed proximity to Boneyard brewing and Fat Tony’s pizza! Comfy beds, quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed the yard, deck and hot tub. Was great to have access to washer and dryer.

We really enjoyed this cute cottage. It had everything we needed for a quick trip to Bend. The back yard was lovely and a great place for our pooch to romp around.

Stayed in town to do activities and attend a concert. Good location the loft is much small smaller than how the pictures make it appear. Better description of height and access would be helpful…

We had a great stay in the charming , well-stocked Star Cottage. We traveled from Montana to meet up with our son who lives in Portland. The guys fished area lakes while the dog and I explored Bend. Great hot tub, comfy beds, convenient location. We’ll be back!

Easy to check in, clean, well stocked with everything we needed, easy walk to downtown, relaxing front porch and back patio.

The home served us well as a basecamp for our Bend explorations. As described. Accurate listing. Kiddos appreciated the front and backyard for throwing a disc around between activities.

Stayed while visiting a friend. Had two kids and dog who loved the back yard. Close (walkable) to many establishments. Great parking!

Very cozy cottage with large fenced backyard, perfect for our little dogs, and the hot tub was delightful. Walkable to McMenamin’s, Drake Park, and other neighborhood spots. The kitchen is very nice, clean and well-equipped. The neighborhood is very quiet (the birds are noisier than people, cars or pets!) and little to no traffic. A very comfortable and convenient place to stay. The management is very responsive and easy to work with.

This little cottage was a pretty good stay especially for the price point. I think it would work best for a smaller sized, younger family. Pretty well located. Really enjoyed the neighborhood. Not the most stocked kitchen and has several nuances of an old home. Hot tub worked great. Overall it worked.

This house was perfect for a week stay in Bend :) The location is great and is a great distance from downtown and other surrounding spots. The house was clean and well maintained. Highly recommend and will stay again!

Quit, convenient, comfortable, clean, small house perfect for a small group.Two bedroom, one bath with a private hot tub for half the price of a hotel room … DONE.Had all the amenities with laundry soap, dishwasher soap, trash bags and plenty of sheets and towels.We would rent again for sure.

This was a cute quaint place walking distance to downtown! It is nestled in a quiet part of town and the backyard is a relaxing place! The house was equipped with all the necessities to help make the stay easier! The house did get cold so we had to bundle up and use the fireplace but overall would stay here again!

We had a great stay! The house was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. Location was great and it was walking distance to downtown and the grocery store. We would absolutely recommend staying here and will likely stay again next time we are in Bend.

I’ve traveled through Bend many times but this is the first time to actually enjoy the experience. Great place, great location, great hosts!
