Stayed Jul 1, 2025Home was lovely. However we found the location noisy with the highway and cars entering and leaving. Also we enjoy sitting on the porch overlooking mountains and lake however there was no furniture out there to sit on. We had brought some folding chairs so used those but not ideal

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Wonderful time in Rangeley Maine. This spot was a very unique layout that had ample space for tune together or quiet moments apart for our group. Great proximity to town and so pleased with the quality of the items in the linen package.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay at Blue Spruce, with great views of the lake and comfortable accommodations. The house has a well-equipped kitchen and quaint wooden furniture throughout. It is very convenient, just one mile to the town of Rangeley and the local IGA grocery store. We took advantage of access to the marina across the street to launch our kayaks. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Loved staying at Blue Spruce! Extraordinary view from the porch (small, but nice - room to sit and look out but not have a table out there) and from the upstairs bedroom's huge picture window. I will note if you are someone that likes to sleep in late and needs darkness, then the downstairs bedroom is preferable (cool and dark), whereas the upstairs master bedroom with the amazing view does of course let the morning light in pretty early during the summer. Loved having a washer, dryer and dishwasher. And the kitchen and closets were so stocked with extra blankets, pillows, chairs, cooking utensils, some staples and spices that we felt completely at home. Gigantic kitchen island was great for extra cooking prep space, storing items above the reach of our toddler's hands, even laying towels out to dry. We could have used it as a desk as well. The downstairs was a whole apartment with it's own kitchenette and I believe another pull out bed in the anteroom, although we didn't use it. The shared waterfront was lovely, not a sandy beach so I recommend water shoes for everyone, but a great swimming and picnicking area and raft. All in all a wonderful stay!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our week was wonderful! Very quiet and relaxing which we both needed. The house is as described and is very clean. While it was just the 2 of us this year, the house is nicely arranged for another couple to join you. With the downstairs, each couple can have space and their own privacy. We will definitely book again. We have been coming to the Rangeley for many years and have never had a bad trip. Morton and Furbish is responsive to your needs and you feel that they truly want you to be happy!

Stayed Aug 1, 2020Our family had a wonderful time staying at this property for a week. The house is very well maintained, and is in a great location. The folks at Morton and Furbish were so professional and communication was great. Would definitely rent with them again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969House was clean, nice and quaint. Few details though about the house....no deck furniture. There is a small set out back you can drag in to use if needed, but with the view they should have deck furniture. Also master bedroom has an attached loft with no door. There is no privacy if people are staying with you and you have to walk through their sleeping area to use the bathroom. The bathroom does not lock, we had to push a small stool against the door and even with that the kids would still barge in. Downstairs bathroom can be easily opened with the working lock. If you are staying with just your own small family these details are not that big of a deal but if you plan with room with others I would not stay here. Lastly it is very noisy on the main road. Otherwise the house is cute, well stocked, and has a nice view of the lake.
