3 Bedroom, 2 Bath 1600 sq feet tri-level home sitting on one acre in Blue Lake Springs, Arnold. Sleeps 6 very comfortably.

Master bedroom is a loft on top, with California King bed and master bath with roomy shower/tub that looks into the trees. Main floor has spacious full-equipped kitchen with cozy living room and wood-fired stove. Features a new deck that spans across the home. Deck has gas-fired grill, patio table and great seating chairs for gazing at the trees and stars atnight. Bottom floor has two bedrooms. One bedroom has full sized bed with bunk beds. Also opens up to a small deck with stair access to the property below. Great level area for bocce ball or horseshoes. Other downstairs bedroom has a full-sized bed as well. Downstairs bath with stall shower. All beds (except for the bunks) have memory foam toppers and are very comfortable.

Linens/towels/dishes/games - everything you need to enjoy some time away! Plus wi-fi, Apple TV/Chromecast for streaming. (no cable tv) Note: Do not misplace the Apple TV remote. Lost remotes - $75 charge.

20 minutes away from Murphy's - which has numerous wineries and restaurants. While in Murphy's check out the Ironstone Vineyard Concert series!

35 minutes away from Bear Valley for skiing/snowboarding plus cross country skiing and snow fun.

Blue Lake, 1.2 miles away from the house, in the summer offers awesome family recreation - complete with pool, lake, bbqs, snack shack, tennis, basketball and bocce courts. (there is a daily fee - $15 per person or $75 for a group up to six)

White Pines Lake a quick 10 minute drive is great for fishing for blue gills and small bass. And has a great disc golf course that goes around the lake.

Big Trees Calaveras Park is minutes away and offers awesome hiking.

If coming during the winter: highly recommend all wheel/4-wheel drive vehicles if it is snowing. Even after the snow and the roads are clear, it can be icy. While my driveway isn't a super-steep downward slope, it is still a slope and vehicles do have an issue getting out in snow or icy conditions.

Please note, Robin's Nest is my home, I do stay here during the year so this is not strictly a vacation rental. I ask that you be respectful of my home, my personal belongings and items.

A note about taxes. In November 2018, Calaveras County approved Measure G, increasing the Transient Occupancy Tax from 6% to 12% in order to bring in much needed to enhance emergency response programs and services. You will see this charge once you make your reservation with HomeAway.

Check in was super easy. Kitchen supplies were plentiful. Keurig coffee maker would have been nice. I was alone the first night. The next morning I found all plugs in bathrooms & kitchen were dead. I had an early morning appointment. I went with wet hair. I texted owner. They text me back where breaker box was. I checked it and corrected one breaker. No power. Called owner he direct me to fix the same breaker I had already switched. I did it again and pressed harder. Got power. Owner knew which breaker switch was the problem so this must be ongoing. Second, upstairs bathroom had low water pressure. Also there was sufficient hot water but little supply of cold water. The lower bathroom had better water pressure but still plenty of hot water, but Less cold water.

We had a ton of fun staying at Robin's Nest during Christmas. The house is perfectly located, sorrounded by the trees and away enough from other properties to feel very private. Our whole family really loved it. Robin was very accomodating and responsive and immediately attended to a minor problem we had at the beginning of our stay. Highly recommended!

We are an outdoorsy family who loves tranquil spaces, and this house fits the bill exactly!! It is surrounded by trees, no nearby neighbors, and far from the freeway. It was an absolute pleasure to wake up to pure, quiet bliss. It is also close enough to the Arnold Rim trail, Calaveras Big Trees park, Moaning Caverns, Murphys, and Mercer Caverns--enough activities to keep an outdoorsy family busy for days! The beds are SUPER comfy, kitchen has everything you need, and the house is very spacious with amazing views from two separate deckks
