Blue Horizon Retreat- Near Downtown McKinney

The house is clean and comfortable. We appreciated being able to walk over to the park for exercise and downtown for entertainment.

Great location, easy process, lots of nice updates.

Blue Horizon is within a short walking distance from downtown McKinney where we did some local shopping and ate several nice meals. The house itself was roomy yet cozy, well-equipped kitchen and a private deck for the fall days. We will definitely keep this one on our Favorite's List!

Everything was good except the closets. one we couldn't open and the other had a broken hanger rod.

Loved the location in that we were able to walk to the historic district and enjoy the activities. The home had many lovely upgrades. Great job on bathrooms.

We had an amazing time staying in McKinney at this house. The owners are very kind and helpful. The location could not get any better and there were two days where we didn’t drive anywhere just walked. Finch park is right down the road and perfect for my almost 5-year-old to get some energy out. We ate at some great local places including Square Burger, Local Yocal, and Tupps Brewery, all within walking distance. Will definitely be staying again here the next time we come to McKinney! Oh, the house has three larger bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A smaller kitchen so 6 people was a bit cramped but we like each other so it wasn’t a big deal. Newest appliances and easy check out. We met all the owners and were able to put names with faces. All in all, a great family vacation.

My husband and I stayed at Blue Horizon while visiting visiting our son who lives in Whiteboro. We knew we wanted to check out the sites in Dallas and Fort Worth so the location of Blue Horizon worked well for us. The charming McKinney downtown area was a nice surprise! Our host, Tammy was very accommodating and always got back to us with any questions we had. I am a bit of a clean freak and the inside of the house was very clean.The backyard was well maintained but not inviting. All in all Blue Horzon fit the bill for us.

The location is perfect. The home is an older home, but pretty well updated given the space considerations. We very much appreciated the well-stocked coffee supply. If possible to install, a ceiling fan in the master bedroom would be a nice addition.

Stayed here for daughter's wedding with some friends. Perfect location for us. The VRBO was well stocked with spices, containers, bed linens/blankets, dishes to cook with and store items in refrigerator. Thank you Tammy!
