Blue Crab family vacation home

We had a great week!

Super responsive host. Place was as described and well maintained. Definitely would recommend for a beach vacation.

The Blue Crab is in a great location with easy walking distance to the Surfside Pier and surrounding restaurants. The host was very responsive and easy to work with. We enjoyed our stay.

We have rented this house for many years and it’s always wonderful! Beautiful, perfect size for the family, and the perfect location. Thank you guys!!

Beautiful home! Great location! Owner was very responsive. The only negative I would say is the home is listed as ocean view and pictures show a view of the ocean. There is now a huge home in the way of the view.

Overall loved it!!! Great property! I will say tho, the one picture of location shows you can see the ocean/ beach from the front porch unfortunately a GIANT house has been built there since the pictures. Loved the house! But 1st floor bedroom was really warm compared to the rest of the house, so would recommend having a fan in that room!

This is a prime location where you just walk across the street to the beach! We loved sitting on the front balcony in the evenings. The rooms on the back are bright at night from the lights around the pool. Bring eye masks if you prefer to sleep in the dark. We had a great family vacation with plenty of room for everyone!

We had a truly relaxing week at this wonderful property. The location is unbeatable—just steps from easy beach access and a short walk to the pier and nearby restaurants. The home itself is comfortable, well-equipped, and ideal for unwinding. But what truly made our stay special was the host. They were incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with the perfect mix of convenience, coastal charm, and outstanding hospitality, this is the place. Highly recommend!

Blue Crab was the perfect getaway. I was looking for a place close to Myrtle Beach and close to the ocean. The house was one street from the beach and at an access. Surfside is a nice beach, Myrtle Beach and Murrells Inlet were a close drive. The house was clean and well stocked. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. The owner was very communicative and polite . I am going to be staying there again and would highly recommended this rental.

We truly enjoyed our stay location was perfect for our family. Just a few things, some plug ins didn’t work and the showers had a screaming noise when you turned them on.

Beautiful beach house very good location to everything!!!!

The size was perfect for our 2 families. Although we weren't oceanfront, the house is very convenient with a quick walk across the street to the beach. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed two decks and the shared pool was right down the back steps. There were a few items that needed to be fixed or improved.

Great stay as usual. Location is great. Property is nice, clean, and perfect for our family. Owner is easy to reach.

The reviews made it seem much better than what it is. It was disappointing. For the price, including the extra charges, I expected more. Windows leak when it rained, kitchen has no extras. Whole place needs some TLC.

Loved the location, loved the property, had a few minor issues but hopefully that is all resolved. Property had an extremely nice layout for 10 people.

Space was great, loved the proximity to the beach, pool area was very nice, kitchen was well stocked. Would use this property again for a family trip.

Easy check-in, managers easy to reach. House sits on a road but not a problem at all. We watched the July 4th parade from the porch and road side. The pier has great ice cream, several restaurants within walking distance. Benjamin’s bagels was amazing! Shared pool was no problem at all, would be worse at a Resort. The 1 queen room very comfortable, 2 queen room had to much lighting from the pool lights if you like a dark room but beds comfortable. King room was very warm even with door open. 2 twin bedroom nice and comfortable for kids , lighting didn’t bother them. Could use a deep cleaning but sure it’s hard this time of year. Overall clean! We loved our stay at the Blue Crab! It was clean and had a great layout for our three-generation family group. There was enough space for everyone, and the beach was so close. We could walk to restaurants, the pier, and ice cream shops. The pool was clean and was never crowded. There was plenty of parking. The hosts responded quickly when we had questions. The beach amenities (chairs, toys) were helpful as well. We will definitely keep this house on our list for future stays!
