BLUE BUNGALOW ~ 2 Bedroom Townhome in Truman Annex Community with Pool!

Everything was excellent, only the gas grill needed some attention. While the gas bottles seemed full the grill would only heat up to 250 degress. All else was great.

The condo was accurately represented. Plenty of room for 2 couples. It had updated appliances and was very clean and maintained. The location was perfect just 2 blocks away from Duval and all the Key West activities. Far enough away from all the noise but close enough to walk to everything. The only opportunity that took away from the stay was that there was roofing construction going on in several buildings including the condo next store. The noise from the nailing and compressors running kept us from being able to enjoy the outside covered deck as well as any chance of a peaceful siesta during the day. The construction crew also stored their equipment and supplies right behind our outdoor deck area which was a bit messy and disruptive. If I would have known this was going on at the time of my stay, I would have looked elsewhere.

Property was ready on time and very clean on arrival. One small inconvenience is that the parking space for this property is about a block away walking distance not a dealbreaker just an FYI two bedrooms are very attractive, spacious enough and very bright.. Bathrooms are a bit small but quite adequate. All fixtures were in excellent shape. Air conditioning systems work very well as did the ceiling fans. Two pair of double doors open to the deck, and there are four windows along one side and one small window in the pantry that can also be open for cross ventilation if you choose not to use air conditioning. Same situation upstairs. Deck in the queen bedroom is quiet and space is enough for two to be comfortable. Reading room in the king bed room is a nice touch as well very brightly lit with a supply of reading material in the library. Kitchen is adequately stocked with cutlery and utensils. Small wears pots and pans, etc. A small basket of various spices, salt, grinder, pepper, etc. where there as well. All appliances in the kitchen work very well including the garbage disposal. TVs in all areas were easy to use either with cable TV or streaming services. Bedrooms have smaller tvs but adequate for the space. WiFi works well. This unit is in a nice location, easy proximity to blue heaven, green parrot, Hemmingway House,Duval Street all a short walk away. Easy walk to Mallory Square via Emma Street less lively than Duvall and a lot of beautiful houses

Key West is very walkable and the Blue Bungalow is a great place to start - Truman Waterfront Park and Zachary Taylor State Park in one direction, The Green Parrot and Duval Street in the other. Whitney was a great host - very responsive. Well furnished property. Cleanliness was outstanding. Just a wonderful place to experience paradise!

Except for the very uncomfortable couch we had a nice stay.

It was well furnished with all the extras including the kitchen and bedding for the fold-pit couch. Extremely confounding were the proximity of the property to the entry gate (it is adjacent) of Shipyard without the property being part of Shipyard (no entry code to the gate was furnished) and the fact that the parking space allotted to Blue Bungalow was 6 minutes from the property?? Most inconvenient upon arrival and when loading and unloading gear (we had 6 bicycles in a truck plus luggage for 6.)This situation should be clearly explained in the rental information.

The place was spotless and we enjoyed it a great deal.

We come to Key West every summer and this was by far the nicest place we've stayed. It was bright and airy, sparkling clean and everything felt fresh and inviting.
