Blue Birds Perch: Stunning Home on Private Hilltop

The property is just as it appears, a really nice place for multiple people to stay and interact with each other. The owners are super nice and attentive. They offered and let some of us be a part of feeding their horses. The views are spectacular for a country setting, the property is quiet and secluded. I highly recommend it. I would suggest you use the central air and air conditioning provided as neighboring farms use manure on their fields. If you want a cool breeze sit on the porch. Their is plenty to do about 2 miles down the road so it’s close by. Charming area.

Everything thing was absolutely wonderful. We loved the views from the house. Super close to the MEC, as well as dowtown and shopping. Pretty sure we are going to be going back when we are going to be in the area. We loved it.

Beautiful clean home that had everything we needed for our stay. Lots of space for everyone. Cherie and Tim were super accommodating, friendly and communicative. Property was within 10 mins of all the activities, food and shopping we had planned. Great location! Hope to be back next year!

Tim and Cherie exemplify exceptional hospitality, treating their guests with the warmth and care of family. Upon our arrival, they greeted us with delightful treats from a local bakery, and when inclement weather struck, they took the initiative to clear the ice from our vehicle. They also assisted us in navigating the best route back to their home after our event in the snow.Their beautiful and tranquil residence offers comfortable accommodations for up to ten guests. The kitchen is well-equipped for a large group, and ample seating is available for dining and socializing. The space is impeccably clean and inviting, making it an ideal place for a stay. I highly recommend it.

First, we were greeted with fresh donuts...um yes please! A basket withgranola bars and popcorn too.The house was warm, cozy, and had 3 decorated Christmas trees...the fire place was perfect to sit by.The host came and introduced himself.Each bathroom had cute soaps, the bedrooms were ama ing...we loved the enture atmosphere...we will definitely be back!

The bluebirds perch was wonderful! The hosts were so gracious and kind. The house is so spacious and decorated so tastefully. The property is so beautiful. The children loved feeding the horses hay and seeing the kitties. It exceeded our expectations!

This home is beautiful inside and out. Very spacious. We were 3 senior couples who had plenty of room. The house was immaculate and we really enjoyed the wrap around porch for resting after walking ain town or at the flea market. Very close to town,less than 5 min. We met the owner Tim and he showed us and let us feed his horses. The house has all the amenities you might need but do remember to bring a bar of soap for bathing or whatever type of soap you use..We would definitely stay here again next time we visit Shipshewana.

It was a wonderful home, spacious, clean, well decorated. The owners were welcoming and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed being in the country, but conveniently located about a mile from town.

We Are returning for year two and we couldn't be more pleased. We feel like this place is home away from home now. The owners always check on us and stay involved in our horse show. Everyone agrees this is the perfect way to experience a slice of Shipshe heaven. Can't wait to come back!!

WE TRAVELED FROM ILLINOIS TO SPEND 4 DAYS AT THE VRBO AND IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE. HOSTS WERE ONSITE AND WE ENJOYED VISITING WITH THEM AND LEARNING THEIR STORY. THE ACCOMODATIONS WERE EXCELLENT. WE HAD ALL THE SUPPLIES AND ITEMS WE NEEDED FOR 6 WOMEN. THE HOUSE IS WARM AND INVITING. SITTING ON THE PORCH IN THE LATE AFTERNOON INTO THE EVENING I FEEL WAS THE BEST PART. VERY QUIET AND RELAXING FOR US. THANK YOU FOR THE WONDERFUL HOSPITALITY.

Property was clean and beautiful! Owners let us feed their horses too. The description said there was a washer/dryer on site but there was not. Other than that, it was great! Would highly recommend for large families.

This property sits in a beautiful country setting but still just a few minutes from the shops in town. The hosts were wonderful and the house was very clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. I would definitely recommend this place especially if you have a group of 6-10 people.

Our stay was very special because of the location and the lovely home. Our hosts were friendly and provided every thing we needed for a 4 night stay including fresh breakfast rolls left on the kitchen island. We did a lot of sightseeing and the house is very convenient to surrounding towns.

The setting is beautiful, the house is lovely and the host are friendly and caring. Our time spent was precious and a memory our family will cherish for years to come!
