Blue Birdhouse - No Cleaning Fee - Pet Friendly - Dunes National Park

We loved the house. It was in a great location to all the dog friendly activities we did! Would definitely recommend staying here.

This is a great place to stay depending on what your expectations and needs are. It is not fancy. When we pulled up it must have rained a lot because the back yard and thr back of the driveway had large puddles. The inside of the house is not fancy but it is clean, the place is pet friendly with a fenced back yard, and super reasonably priced for being so close to the dunes. As we were really only needing a place to sleep and a place for our chill dog to relax for a couple hours while we saw a concert after a day at the dunes, it was perfect and met all of our needs. The host is very nice and communicates well. Overall I would reccomend the Bluebird!

Cozy place with a nice backyard for pets to play around. Close to Indiana Dunes beaches. The home can easily fit in 6 people. Nice and thoughtful bird-themed decoration. We loved our stay here.

This was a perfect getaway with the pups. The house is clean with everything needed for the stay, and the property manager quickly replied to a few questions.

Cute home, easy access to both the State & National parks. Glad we got the heads up to watch the July 4th parade right at the corner. Thanks for a lovely stay!

The Blue Bird House was perfect for our brief stopover near Indiana Dunes to visit with friends. Communication was excellent! Check in and check out was easy-peasy! Kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. Fenced yard was great for giving our dog a little room to stretch. Bunkbeds were perfect for our teens. I wish we could have stayed longer, but I would definitely stay here again when we're back in the area.

We had a fantastic stay at the Blue Birdhouse. Super close to the beach and a very clean little house. Wagners Ribs were walking distance away and delicious food. We had an issue accessing the house that the owner quickly resolved. Great little place.

Nice place

The house was ok but it needs some work. The master bedroom bed is very small and sags. The livinh room pull out was as well. The futon was atained. The hardwood floors were dirty and couldnt walk barefoot on them or it would turn your feet black. The dinning room table was broken amd wobbling so we couldnt sit there.

This place was clean and well stocked with anything you need or might have forgotten. Would have gave 5 stars but the trains (out of control of the host) ran constantly and the house is super close to the track. Yard was perfect for our dog and enjoyed grilling and the fire pit.

The area is nice and quiet. Not really as close to the key areas of the dunes. Older home with some updates. Washed and dryer are in the basement. Exterior could use some maintenance. Overall, it meets the requirement if you do not plan to spend a lot of time onsite.
