Stayed Jan 16, 2026The home owners thought of EVERYTHING when they furnished this home. The spotless kitchen has all of the pots and pans you would need to cook from home. There is a glass for any drink you can think of. The bathrooms even have a towel/robe warmer for when you get out of the shower. The owners reply immediately with your concerns and questions. We had 9 people in the house, and there was plenty of room for all us to hang out together. Every single person in our group was amazed how great the house was and very happy with their stay. We would definitely return if we come back to Bloomington.

Stayed Oct 8, 2025Althea has thought of every single item you would ever need in every room. The chef's kitchen has every pan, utensile, container, plate and stemware needed to host great meals! Each bedroom has thier own set of towels and toiletry items. Plus every room has detailed operating instructions that allow you to fully enjoy your stay. We rented both units and with two full kitchens and extra living spaces, our family was able to spread out comfortably but still under one roof. The patio deck is the perfect extension for serving meals or just relaxing with a cup of coffee. The fire pit was a big hit! And they provided all of wood and equipment! This is by far the very best home we have ever stayed in and we hope to stay here every time we visit Bloomington. You are amazing, Althea!

Stayed Sep 15, 2023We had a large group of 20 people meeting back in Bloomington for a reunion after 30+ years! 10 of us stayed at the house! It was perfect! It’s a great space! Plenty of room for everyone and the euchre tournament we planned!
