Bleubird West Suite ️Luxury Stay -Walk to Downtown

Our host was very welcoming and our room was very clean. I loved that it was so close to restaurants and stores to shop at. We especially loved being greeted by her dog Sandy who was so sweet! We would definitely stay here again!

This was the most fabulous place I've ever stayed! There is an art gallery, yoga studio, and the most gorgeous home I've ever seen. Jane was a wonderful and accommodating host. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to everyone I know. It’s the perfect retreat!

Jane was an amazing host! She made sure we had everything we needed. She gave us great recommendations for places to eat. There was drinks, snacks, and breakfast items in the kitchen that were tasty! Her dog is adorable and sweet! The yoga class on Sat morning was amazing and peaceful. We loved staying here and will spread the word. My bf had a great birthday weekend!

I have put off reviewing our stay because I wanted to give it the attention it deserves! Everything about Bleubird was PERFECT for my 15-year-old daughter and I. We stayed for 11 nights and hated to leave. We were in town for a horse show, which entailed some grueling, long days. The return “home” was always a delight - very clean, comfortable, quiet, peaceful, even a little indulgent (we found Jane’s stash of Lindor chocolate bars). Jane is the ultimate hostess - showed us every detail at 10 pm on the night we arrived from a long day on the road. She told us to “open every cabinet and drawer” - truly wanted us to make ourselves at home. When the washer needed repair, she communicated with me via text on when it would be completed. Jane invited us to attend an art show event on property as well as yoga class. The property is beautiful - you sit on the front porch overlooking an expansive lawn. Out the back is a picturesque farm with old barn - quintessential Kentucky. It’s a very short walk a block down the hill to the shops and restaurants of Georgetown. I was so proud of our VRBO find that I brought several other moms/daughters from our equestrian team back to the house to see it and meet Jane. We always felt safe. There are fresh flowers galore. A kitchenette with farmhouse sink overlooking bird feeders in the yard. The decor is whimsical and appealing. Jane and her dog Sandi always pop out of the downstairs kitchen to greet you. We are coming back.

So beautiful and everything was just perfect! Jane is a very nice lady and has thought of everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay at her place. Lots of little extra things that you don’t usually get at other places. We loved it and would highly recommend staying with her and her sweet pup, Sandy:)

Beautiful, charming home away from home. So happy we chose this over a hotel. Walking distance to wonderful food. Close drive to our event. Owner is so welcoming and friendly and added many thoughtful touches that made our stay even more special. Would give 10 stars if I could. Will definitely be back.

We had a great stay. Highlights were the extremely comfy bed, the gorgeous bedding and friendly host with her friendly pup. Would definitely stay there again. Also, great location—close to town but far enough away for a more serene vibe.

The property is spotless and well-appointed. It’s an easy drive to the horse farms and Keeneland, and it’s a little farther to Mammoth Cave but worth it!

Very nice accommodation close to Main Street in Georgetown, KY. Peaceful setting. Clean and comfortable. Jane was a great host. I look forward to another visit soon.

The Bleubird is the best place! Jane and Sandy were the best hosts! Our room was precious and very comfortable. Everything was clean and lovely. We will stay here again!

We stayed three nights on our move from Iowa to Virginia and loved every minute of our stay. Jane (and Sandy, her sweet dog) met us when we arrived and took us on a tour of her lovely home (which includes a yoga studio, a professional kitchen, an art gallery showcasing local artists, and a top-floor lookout from which you can see much of Georgetown). The two suites are on the second floor, as well as the kitchen which is shared by the two suites. Both suites have a private ensuite bathroom, and a large walk-in closet, and doors leading to the shared front porch, which is a great place to sit and have a glass of wine, or a sip of bourbon. Our bed was so comfortable that we chose to sleep in both mornings, and had a late complimentary continental breakfast. The breakfast included English muffins and bagels with butter, cream cheese, and jams; fresh fruit, milk, coffee, tea or juice. There was also wine in the fridge, which Jane so graciously offered to us. The inn is in Georgetown, and in a great location from which to walk into the town or drive to the many distilleries, wineries, historic sights or the horse farms in the area. We went to two different distilleries, a horse farm and some historical sights, and all were within 25 minutes. We also walked into town and went to Chocomania, a sweet shop that sells chocolates, Italian gelato, pastries, cookies and cakes. If you want to visit the area, look no further than Jane's VRBO suites--you will be glad you did!

Jane and the Bluebird Studio / Suites were amazing!!! Quiet, comfortable, super clean, great location, and a host who provided amenities we are not accustomed to receiving. We did have the place/balcony to ourselves which helped with privacy but even if we had a suite neighbor my review of this immaculate stay would not change.

Jane met us ar the door at check-in and we found her to be very engaging and conversational. It’s a beautiful property and it is fresh and modern. We enjoyed being close to Georgetown and close to Kentucky horse Park.

Jane’s place is super nice and clean. Was a quick drive to KY horse park. She met us for check in and gave us a great tour and very thoughtful small check in gifts, as well as a little check out gift before we left! Will definitely rebook next time I’m in KY!

Altogether I’ve probably rented at least 15 vrbo/air b&b properties in the past & this one was my all time favorite! It was perfect spot for me & I couldn’t have asked for anything more. There was a balcony/deck right off my suite where I had coffee each morning and a glass of wine each evening. Great place to sit and relax or read a good book. The home is quiet, comfortable, very well appointed, convenient to downtown & the grounds are beautiful! As soon as I arrived, the owner & her pet Sandy, met me at the door to show me around, she’s a lovely host! I would not hesitate to stay here again during future trips to the area! Thanks to Jane & Sandy I had a wonderful visit and experience in Georgetown!

This is one of the nicest places you will ever stay! The Owner thinks of everything and works hard to make your stay special. She lives on the premises but your room and bathroom are private. Cannot recommend it enough!

We stopped for a few days on our way to get our daughter from a summer internship in WV. We go to Georgetown at least once a year. We finally got a chance to stay at this beautiful property we have admired for several years since it was just my spouse & I. Jane & Sandy greeted us upon our arrival. Nothing better than seeing a dog since we had to board ours for the trip.the home is beautiful & our room was spacious & comfortable. Hope to come back & bring another couple to visit the town of Georgetown & hope to stay at this property.
