We had an excellent time at this property. The house was spacious and clean. Had everything we needed for the family to spend time together. Would have been nice if there had been more water in the river, but nothing the property owner can do about that. Would definitely stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.

Everything was great. Only problem was even though we connected to the WiFi. We had zero internet service. But the house and everything was wonderful. Will definitely go again.Also, the outside area was really nice, but not recently cleaned. Everything was really dusty. We had to wipe down and chairs were just kind of thrown around, but it was definitely a beautiful setting.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The fenced backyard is nice and sitting on the covered back porch just can’t be beat. Just a lovely stay! Already looking forward to next time!

This is a wonderful rental close to town - very homey and comfortable. The yard and river access are phenomenal! We brought our dog and she just loved running around. Only down side was slow internet and Verizon cellular signal was poor. Regardless, would stay here again. 5 stars!

Third time to stay here at Easter. Plenty of room for all. Comfortable beds, clean house, fantastic outdoor space. Easy river entry for dogs & people. Peaceful and relaxing, just what everyone needed!

We love this peaceful, lovely property so much. Some of my favorite experiences with nature have happened here the past two years. The only things I'd suggest are a more comfortable couch and more puzzles/games available (for when we're not outside). One of the bedside lamps was not functioning, but that's a minor detail. Hope to visit again many more times.

Excellent property! We brought our two big dogs and it was perfect. There was a great size fenced in backyard for them and they enjoyed going down to the river with us. Beautiful area and the house was great. Very clean and had everything we needed. We brought our 15 month old and there was plenty of room for her crib in one of the guest rooms. We’d definitely go back if we ever visited the area again!

Beautiful, peaceful retreat along the river. Perfect.

Overall it’s lovely. The interior is well maintained and lovely. The cookware could use updating. The directions had an error so we couldn’t find it at first. The batteries in the thermostat were dead, so we had to use other lights to see it. Beyond those minor things it’s a delightful place and an excellent choice.

Beautiful house tucked away in the woods on the Blanco River. The house was very cozy and quiet. We observed lots of deer and even had an 8-pt buck bed down right beside my truck! The beds were very comfortable and the towels were plush and soft. Remote feeling but only 3 miles from downtown Wimberley. The back porch is very inviting with lots of chairs and 3 different sitting areas. Our family only stayed two Nights, but wish we would’ve had more time.

Property was exactly what we were looking for, by the river, deer in the evening, peaceful and relaxing.

The host was very quick to respond when I contacted her. The cable box for one of the televisions needed to be replaced and the host took care of this within a few hours.

Property very clean and comfy. The river is right behind the property and so easy to access. We were able to wade barefoot in the river. The property is close to shops and restaurants but feels like it's out in the country. We went to Market Days which is so fun! Connie, the host, was always so quick to respond to any message I sent. Excellent host & excellent property for peace & quiet and beautiful nature!! We will definitely be back! One of our favorite places! Be sure to check out JPs Wimberley BBQ just up the road from the property!! It was SO great and very generous portions! Thanks Connie for providing such a wonderful place!

Amazing! Was perfect for my family. Water was knee high but we could still float around in it and relax and it was very clean. Nice place! We enjoyed it.

This house is very special. It is right on the Blanco river, so the kids could walk back and forth from the house easily. The house was clean, and had everything we needed. I highly recommended staying at this property.

Loved the house. Very nicely appointed and rather secluded. The river is fun but we just had the unfortunate opportunity to visit during a very wet rain event. We still had fun!

This place is amazing. It’s so peaceful and relaxing to just sit outside and enjoy nature along the river. It’s far enough out of town to give you privacy, but close enough to enjoy the food and shops on the square with just a short drive.

The house was cozy and the beds were comfortable. It was nice to be out in the country with all the nature and wildlife at our doorstep. Also appreciated the ability to walk down to the river and hang out! I would recommend more comfortable seating in the living room and a better stocked kitchen. We spent some of our days entirely at the house and did not feel like there was adequate cookware to make dinner. Otherwise, had a wonderful time staying and exploring Wimberley!

The home is conveniently located near town but far enough away for peace and quiet. The house is well maintained and equipped. The fireflies at night are beautiful. We were able to see abundant wildlife from deer to wild turkey. The river is a bit low due to drought but was still very nice and relaxing. JP's barbecue is close and has great food.

Our favorite place on the Blanco River! Great house and always enjoy our time on the back porch! Can’t wait to return!

Excellent place to sit back and relax. River too low for fishing but was a nice view! Loved watching the hummingbirds at the feeder.

The property is very peaceful, quiet and quaint. Good place to disconnect and recharge. Not far from town. The river was a bit dry but was still nice to hear the stream and watch the deers nearby.

Well appointed comfortable home on the river. It is very private, yet unpretentious. We enjoyed the birds, fireflies, and humming birds.

2nd stay at this property. Easy river access, perfect for the dogs. Water level was low but that’s Mother Nature and the dogs didn’t mind. Quiet, peaceful, relaxing.

Wonderful location and check in /out was seamless. Very clean home with covered front & back porch. Well stocked kitchen items and plenty of room! We are already talking about another trip this year!

We had a wonderful three-night stay here, and it was so nice to be able to bring our (large) dog with us! All of us enjoyed wading in the river (it was pretty low at the time but still fun), we saw the moon rise over the hill, we enjoyed watching many birds in the backyard, and we just generally enjoyed being together, reading and doing puzzles, and often just taking in the peace and quiet of the property. The house is much larger and brighter than pictures suggest. If this property added a hot tub, it would be the cherry on top, but it's wonderful either way. We hope to return soon!

We loved this house and host! Communication was great, check-in and -out were easy, house was comfortable and clean, yard was fenced, and the land between the house and the river was cleared.

We enjoyed three days at this Blanco River retreat. The dogs loved the fenced yard, and we enjoyed viewing the wildlife. This is a well-equipped home, and we would love to return during the summer to take advantage of the river. Wimberley was so fun; great shopping and dining!

For humans and dogs this property is perfect. The house is great for friends or families with 3 bedrooms so everyone has a quiet place. The patio overlooking the river is so relaxing and a great place to watch over children and pets playing in the fenced yard. The home is well equipped and very comfortable.

Such a pretty location. Everything was as described. Highly recommend. Will be back!

We were in town for a weekend event & this was a great home base. I could have spent more time just relaxing in the house

The place was great, the person that own the place was great, but it was not what was displayed on the verbal and it was not what I expected. When I booked this at advertised it had a hot tub. It did not! She took $100 off. If I booked a place without a hot tub it would have been at least $300 cheaper than what I booked here. I'm not happ. yOn the pictures it showed that the water was high near the house which was waterfront, it was pretty much extremely dry! I have to say that the host was awesome but the place was not what I paid for, and it was not what I expected! I know better to ask a lot more questions before I rent a place here on verbo.

Inside is comfortable with plenty of seating for lounging and dining. Satellite tv did not work. Inside was very clean, but the outdoor patio seating needs a good scrubbing. Lots of deer nearby for nature watching.
