Private Pisgah Forest Home with large deck, covered front porch, central heat and air and garage. The home was newly built in 2020. Room for six with King bed in primary bedroom and queen beds in bedroom two and three. Queen mattresses are memory foam for excellent sleeping. Outside there is a large covered front porch and there is a big open deck with a propane grill and several chairs for relaxing after a day of hiking or mountain biking. Stayed Apr 10, 2026This home was absolutely wonderful, clean, spacious and great for the dog! It was peaceful, the stars were bright, and the fire pit was so nice after a long day of college baseball! A few Good to Know items: the mattresses are firm, which my family likes but a good thing to know. Also the fridge does not have a water dispenser so grab a gallon before you head up. Apple Maps had a hard time finding the location and Google Maps says the house is further up the road than it actually is so be cautious when navigating. A wonderful weekend stay! Thanks for having us!

Stayed Feb 21, 2025BKs Hideaway was a great house located about 15 minutes outside downtown Brevard. There's a large open area containing the kitchen, dining area, and living room. The bedrooms were on opposite sides of the house which is great when traveling with friends. The beds were very comfortable. The house was well equipped. The shower water pressure is a little on the low side but is fine as long as two showers aren't going at the same time. The bath towels are a little older and thin but work fine. The fire pit was wonderful!Be aware the house is 3 miles off the main road and the drive up the mountain is a little treacherous at night. Also, the turn into the driveway is a little tight - we actually backed in to make it easier. All in all, I recommend this place if you're looking to be close to town but want to be a bit secluded.

Stayed Dec 27, 2024The location and house were perfect for our family! We loved playing darts and ping pong downstairs when it was raining outside, and the kitchen and bedrooms had everything we needed. We will definitely stay again!
