Stayed Dec 31, 1969Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely time, but owner contacted me through Facebook and harassed me about holding a retreat there. This was a very rude interaction.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely stay at bird song, the yard and gardens were a standout. The house is well equipped with everything you need and plenty of space. Just a short stroll to the bowling club and the beach/river either side. A few improvements would make it perfect though- the house definitely needs a screen on the main door from the kitchen out to the veranda to keep the bugs out. An outdoor table and chairs would be a great addition to sit out on the veranda looking over the beautiful gardens. The overall cleanliness of the house could be improved, the cups and plates from the cupboard were dirty and you could see the sand and dust under the furniture. In saying that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Stayed May 27, 2022Birdsong is a very comfortable house with large verandah overlooking beautiful gardens which are well lit at night with pretty lights. The house is spacious and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets. In the heart of the village it was perfect for our family get together of 5 adults.
