Description

This peaceful coastal home in Bodega Harbour South isn’t just a getaway—it’s a place where memories are made and hearts are healed.

Set on what may be the largest backyard in all of Bodega Bay, this open, grassy space is perfect for kids to run free, toss a ball, or simply lie back and watch the clouds drift by. It’s a rare find—private, expansive, and nestled among rolling hills and ocean breezes.

Inside, warm cedar ceilings create a cozy, soulfulatmosphere. The kitchen offers pastoral hillside views and a chef-grade cooktop and oven, perfect for preparing meals that bring the whole family together.

Step onto the patio and you might just spot the great white egret that often visits—a graceful presence the owner feels is a spiritual reminder of his late father, who loved this land deeply. Many guests have said they feel a special calm here, a sense of connection that’s hard to explain but easy to feel.

Evenings can be spent in the hot tub under the stars, enjoying the fireplace, or watching a movie on the drop-down projector in the living room. Board games are on hand for cozy nights in, and golf lovers will appreciate the course views and access.

With a king bed, queen bed, and single-level layout (no stairs), this family-friendly home offers comfort for all ages. Amenities like a washer/dryer, hairdryer, and iron ensure a smooth, stress-free stay.

Whether you’re here for stillness or celebration, this home is a sacred space where you can reconnect—with nature, family, or maybe even a loved one who’s passed.

My girlfriends and I rented this house because of the projector screen. We were surprised there was surround sound, too! It was perfect for our 80's movie overnight. Just sad we didn't get to use the hot tub and fire pit, but the property was gorgeous.
