Stayed May 29, 2025Views were great and beds were comfortable. House did not seem like it was cleaned very well. The refrigerator and freezer had a lot of old food in it and it was dirty. Floors were dirty. The outside decks were unattended to and did not appear that anyone was expecting guests to come. Whoever is in charge of cleaning this property and preparing it for guests does not seem to pay attention to details.

Stayed Feb 14, 2025Definitely had what we needed! Will visit again. We did go in freezing cold temperatures in February, the lower set on steps were covered in ice and there was no handrail. We tried busting it off with a hammer but ended up running and buying ice melt.

Stayed May 3, 2024Loved the lake views and house setup. We had everything we needed. Enjoyed our cousin time together. A house number on the cabin would sure be helpful. Thanks for sharing your home!!

Stayed Sep 16, 2023First impression - broken stairway leading to house from the parking area, entry door was covered in cobwebs and leaves. Inside - filthy. After dragging our luggage down the side hill since the stairs were impossible, the first thing we did was clean the toilets. Floors were not swept, bathroom showers were not cleaned, outside furniture was covered in cobwebs. Discovered the next day that the upstairs shower did not work. Took 5 days to be repaired. Four adults trying to schedule showers was challenging.We eliminate any rentals with only one bathroom, but ended up with one anyway.There is a broken window in the living room and a broken dining room chair. The dock is accessible by a broken wooden stairway. Overall the worst rental we have ever had in over 20 years of using VRBO. We left a day early just to get out of there. The owner never offered a refund for the cleaning or the inconvenience of the shower situation. Do not rent this!
