Great location!
We came for a wedding. The location was great and could walk to Main Street
Very cute. Walking distance to town. Just as pictured. We enjoyed our stay.
Beds were so comfortable, shower pressure was amazing, and the Hoyas was so adorable!
Great location to events in Boerne. House is clean and open floor plan so with 6 adults it didn’t feel crowded.
Great location. Super attentive host. Nice neighborhood.
Spent our family Christmas and enjoyed every minute. Walking distance to main street with all the shops. We had a slight issue, no fault to owner, and had a quick response from host.
This place will not sleep 8 unless you put someone on the couch and someone on the floor. Complicated in the fact, that the second house which opened with the same method as the main was not part of the reservation leading to available bed issues. I even called the number listed, was reassured everything was fine to be called back requiring us to pack up and vacate part of that part of the house. This caused further complications because I had to leave a special event to rectify the issue. I was told the reason it sleeps 8 is that most kids usually co-sleep or bring a pack-n-play, well my teenage daughters could not do either. Disappointed with that. As well as the Window Unit to cool the upstairs that was not turned on (at least on low would have been nice) so it was 100' when we arrived. House is definitely unique with its layout. We would stay again when its just 6 or less of us.
While you could tell the house was historic, the updates and maintenance were very well done. The house was just as advertised, the furniture was comfortable, and the layout worked very well for our family of four. The location to the old town is wonderful with just a short walk to get right into the action, but far enough away to be peaceful at night. There's a really nice walk beside the river that's less than a block away as well, and we really enjoyed strolling along there. We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.
Derek was so friendly and helpful through out our stay. If you come to Boerne you have to stay here!
Great place to feel at home. Only issue was the step-down in the downstairs bathroom. We had 2 individuals with cognitive and lung issues, but after a while all adjusted well. It was exactly what we were looking for ...... a homey atmosphere to sit and catch up on old times and todays world. Thank you for a great stay...... we'll do this again.
