Stayed Aug 27, 2022I just needed a place to rest my head for the night whilst in town racing the Wonderland Ultra-trail. The place was EXACTLY what I needed. It has all the amenities, clean, cosie, and within distance of the town centre. Thank you Don for making this available for me. Lochie

Stayed Jul 5, 2020Excellent 2-3 star property that was better then we expected. Great if you are on a budget. Not too many luxuries, although a heater in every room was great at night. Don was very hospitable.

Stayed May 21, 2018If you had provided more information about the property, we would not have taken it. We felt that we were deceived about the bathroom/tollet situation and there was grubbiness in the shower. The house was poorly designed and very badly constructed . No proper wardrobes and only one bedside cabinet and bedside light. Plus an extra bed in the main bedroom that was not necessary and in the way. There were only 3 kitchen chairs {but 5 beds!) No DVD instructions or any welcome notes and directions. The ceiling and wall space was busy with mice /rats during the night.Mice droppings were in a kitchen drawer. We can't recommend the place to anyone. Very poor value!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had an enjoyable stay here. The cottage is basic but has everything you need for a stay in the Grampians where most activities will be outside. If you are looking for a place to spend a lot of time indoors then I would look elsewhere. The good - the location is in amongst bush land in Halls Gap. It has a lovely little yard. - beds are comfy - tame Kookabura's are frequent visitors which our kids loved. - kangaroos were spotted 5m from the front door The bad - the couches in the lounge are old and one of them is on the nose - floor needed a sweep on arrival

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I just loved this property because of it's location- it's simply in the heart of halls gap!!! I enjoyed the beauty of nature along with my family and friends a lot here. This small cottage is old but not bad for 4 adults. you will find each and everything that you need in kitchen.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The cabin is nothing fancy, but all you need for a pleasant stay in Halls Gap. 2 bedrooms are comfortable and the lounge and kitchen are adding bit extra to the comfort that the cabin provides. Great to have heaters and hot water. Had a great stay.
