This is a lovely room with a sweet patio in a quiet, clean neighborhood. Street parking is easy & the location is super.

Easy peasy! Michael made everything great! The beautiful little courtyard outside our room was a delight! Fresh lemons on the tree were so pretty. The location was central to the things we wanted to see. No problems with parking.

Great location & kind, communicative host. The patio was a lovely place to relax. The room may be small, but thoughtfully appointed to maximize the space. We would stay again if we find ourselves back in LA.

Fantastic place to stay and the host is incredible. Super cute, clean, and very clear instructions for accessing the place, parking, and felt very safe and welcomed. Love how close everything is! The whole vibe was amazing. Walked to restaurants nearby that were absolutely delicious!

I had a nice, cozy, and quiet stay here. The neighborhood was safe and centrally located to places I wanted to visit on my trip to LA. Nice shower and comfy bed. I didn’t have much time to enjoy it, but there was also a nice private patio outside with a lemon tree! I’d stay here again next time I’m visiting LA!

The host was very responsive and welcoming. The room was a bit smaller than appeared in the photos but, otherwise, well represented. Bed was comfortable; nice quality sheets. Parking was very easy; plenty of spaces available. The outdoor patio was very attractive and loved the lemon tree. I helped myself to a few! Well appointed.

A two minute walk to Melrose Avenue and less than ten minutes to Erehwon on Beverly. Our casita was lovely, cozy, and well appointed with everything we could hope to have. The fragrant lemon tree in the enclosed outdoor patio was a treat. Michael was great to deal with. We’d happily stay again.

This was my second stay in these charming and comfortable guest quarters and I'm sure I'll plan to return. Michael is a very welcoming host. I particularly enjoy the peaceful patio which is such a delightful feature. The location is very central and I love the nearby Blu Jam Café for breakfast. Also, The Grove, Farmers Market and Erewhon within easy walking distance. A real gem.

It was such a wonderful place to stay. It was so cozy and quiet and perfect. Michael couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating. The private patio was an added bonus. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay! Michael was very courteous and was close by to help with whatever we might need. Very close proximity to coffee, restaurants and bars. It was very walkable and bike friendly (for L.A.) The place was small, so it is more suited for partners or a single person. If you like us, you will probably spend most of your time out, walking around doing activities, so this wasn’t a big deal to us. Also, it felt very safe. Thanks again!

A comfortable, clean and quiet space with a peaceful and private patio for enjoying the glorious LA weather! Michael is always available if needed and parking is easy and always available right out front. The neighborhood is fun and walkable with plenty of restaurants right up the block.

Michaels property is just as described. Very clean and perfect space for 1-2 to decompress after exploring. Private entrance from the main house and a clean, private patio just outside the cottage doors. Plenty of off street parking at all times of the day. Location is close to all the attractions while at the same time situated on a quiet street/neighborhood. I would definitely recommend and when in LA again we would definitely book.

This rental was exactly what we expected, a beautiful stay in a relatively quiet neighborhood near Melrose! The privacy is wonderful and the back patio was a great hangout spot. The host was very kind and made sure we had a great stay with everything we needed.

A quiet, attractive little apartment in a nice neighborhood, with a comfortable private courtyard. The host lives on the premises and was quite attentive and responsive.

We had a terrific stay at Michael’s place. He’s a super cool guy, he and his awesome dog greeted us when we got there and helped me sort out how to work the TV options. The room is really nice, easy walking distance to lots of great restaurants and shopping and a short drive to other cool spots my wife and I were in LA for our 20th anniversary but already taking about coming back. We had a great time in LA and Michael’s place was a big part of the reason for that!

My wife and I loved our stay! The suite is perfect for a couple. It is clean, cozy, and very quiet. Parking was easy and we were able to park in front of the house everyday. Centrally located in Los Angeles. Neighborhood was safe and quiet. Tons of shopping and good food near by as well!

I arrived the day of the Santa Ana winds which then led to the fires. Michael was so kind and sent texts about the wind conditions and then the following day about the fire conditions and air quality. Michael also made me feel very safe despite everything that was going on around us he checked in was great communication and even let his dog Xena come out for all the belly rubs. The place was perfect for one or two people well stocked, very clean. Also everything was about 2-4 blocks walking distance. I plan on renting from Michael again for future trips . I

From the initial communication with the owner to the very last goodbye, this experience exceeded my expectations. Each interaction with the owner wasn't just respectful or helpful, it felt genuinely caring. The room itself was absolutely lovely, comfortable, and just plain darling! My daughter and I loved the flowers and lemon tree in the patio and the area felt very safe. Overall, I'm grateful for the stay! It was wonderful!

The apartment is very well equipped and comfortable. The shower is great and there’s a lovely patio. The location is great with lots of walkable dining options. Michael was also very helpful and welcoming.

This was a fantastic place to stay in LA for a long weekend. Perfect location to use as a base for excellent food exploring (great restaurants and Farmer's Market) and to visit museums (Petersen, Getty, LACMA). Located in a wonderful and quiet residential area, just steps away from Melrose Ave. Clean, comfortable and well equipped with all the small touches. Host Michael was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again, and will recommend to friends and family. (One small note: the wifi can be spotty, so just check on that when you arrive).

We enjoyed our stay here as we visited our son nearby. The patio area is very relaxing.

Michael’s guest suite was perfect for my LA stay. Everything was tastefully decorated, there were snacks and bottled water provided, and the bedroom and bathroom were spotless. The tiled patio was so pretty and private. Michael was a wonderful host! I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this tranquil oasis in a great location. Michael could not have been more welcoming and helpful in not only providing detailed access instructions in advance, but also in greeting me in person on arrival and making sure I could access the key, the gate code, etc. The room was immaculate and had everything I could possibly need. But my favorite feature has to be the charming patio. That was the real selling point for me, in addition to the location. Discovered a new favorite breakfast spot a couple blocks away on Melrose, Blu Jam Cafe, which was excellent both times I went there. And The Grove and Farmers Market are easily walkable destinations as well. I look forward to staying here again the next time I visit Los Angeles.
