Mission Beach

• Booking Process: After booking, you must complete our electronic rental agreement and an identity verification to access your guest portal. Check-in details, including a custom door code and property information, are available in the portal after all requirements are completed.
• Seasonal Policies: We have minimum stay requirements that vary by season.
Summer (Memorial Day–Labor Day): 5 night minimum, no arrivals on July 4th (Independence Day)
Holidays: 5-night minimum. A single reservation cannot span both Christmas and New Year's unless it is 14+ nights. No arrivals/departures on Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day.
• Check-In/Out: Check-in is 3 p.m. (4 p.m. in summer). Check-out is 11 a.m.
• Property Note: This is a privately owned vacation home. Furnishings and decor may occasionally be updated and differ slightly from the photos.
• Pet Policy: Pets are permitted at this property with an ADDITIONAL FEE. The fee is $200 plus tax for the first pet, and $100 plus tax for the second pet. Please be advised: THIS FEE IS EXTRA, IT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE BUNDLED RATE AT BOOKING. We require additional details about your pet before approving and processing payment for the pet fee.
• Rate Policy: Rates fluctuate daily. Pricing at the time of booking is the confirmed rate.
• Age Policy: We typically do not rent to guests under 25 or to large groups. Please contact us prior to booking if your group requires an exception.
• Climate Control: The condo does not have central A/C. It is equipped with heaters for cooler evenings and enjoys a wonderful ocean and bay breeze. Portable a/c units are available to rent at an additional cost. Please contact us to reserve.
• Laundry: There is a washer and dryer in the garage for guest use.
• Beach Gear Provided: We provide a variety of beach accessories, including beach chairs, a beach umbrella, boogie boards, and 2 beach cruisers!
• Starter Kit: We provide a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and detergents. All linens, bath towels, and beach towels are also included.
• Traveling with Children: Baby equipment, including a pack ‘n play, high chair, and crib, is available to rent at an additional cost for your convenience. Please inquire for details.

We recommend a car for navigating San Diego, but public transportation is just a couple blocks away. If you`re planning to stay put in Mission and Pacific Beach, there is no need for cars! Just ride our provided bikes or walk the neighborhood.

    We loved everything about it! Comfortable and cozy, with everything you could think of available in the house. Beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, towels, fully equipped kitchen, everything clean. Patio with table and chairs and bbq let us have a nice family bbq. Easy walk to beach and bay, in a relaxed and quiet neighborhood. We woul stay again in s heartbeat!

    We will be as generous as we can. This property is basically a flophouse for people who wish to stay out all night and drink so they can sleep thru the all-day-and-all-night street noise, landscapers at 6:30 am, trash trucks at 7am, motorcycles showing off, emergency vehicles helping drunks at 2 am, etc., all the while reading the property managers notes about tenants not making noise! You prohibit loud talking and singing but the only way to hold a conversation over the outside noise is to raise one’s voice. There were no dish towels upon arrival( later supplied) so it’s clear there is no expectation that tenants will cook food so need to wash dishes. There is no AC so we opened the windows(screens broken but fixed at our request) for air circulation letting in even more street noise. The house is small and old: opening screeching wooden drawers that woke up the dead, and the awkward floor plan but the beds were comfortable. It’s not really a good choice for family and folks over the age of 35, especially for seniors like us. This is such a shame because the location is excellent.

    The house was clean, with a small backyard-mostly shaded in the late afternoon. Very clean and accommodating. I would definitely recommend it and stay here again. The communication with property management was great. Quick responses. Highly recommended!

    This property is a great location. It is walkable to the bay and the beach. The kitchen was well equipped.There were lots of beach chairs and toys. We had a great time!

    Great place to stay, centrally located in Mission Beach. 4 min to the beach, 4 min to the bay, lots of walking trails. Would highly recommend, for whatever that’s worth from a stranger.

    Perfect location walking distances to beach and businesses, yet a private patio area. Very clean. Beds were comfortable and extra bedding and towels are onsite. Fantastic communication with owners. They very much wanted to ensure our questions were met. Would stay again

    Pros: location (4 minute walk to the beach), space (3 bedrooms plus a sleeper sofa and there was a bunk bed and another twin in one room), dog friendly, newer flooring, great water pressure. My 2020 Ford Expedition did fit with about two inches to spare front and back and we had to pull forward to use the washer and dryer. We did have to park our second vehicle elsewhere. Nice beach chairs, boogie boards, toys and bikes to borrow. Cons: being so close to Mission Blvd you do hear traffic, no AC, no dishwasher, very little area for the dog to potty, kitchen needs remodeling but functional. Fans were provided but box fans would be a better choice. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

    The property is a great location. Easy walk to beach or bay - and near shopping and restaurants. My single complaint is the stained carpet and overall lack of tlc given to the house. I understand because of where the house is located people will rent it without any updates, but it is just kind of a bummer.

    Fair. The pictures are deceiving and must be 10 years old. The 3 of us agree it was the worst rental we ever experienced.
