Bethany West home with pool & tennis access - wood finishes, balcony, W/D, & AC

The house, was very nice. It was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and a great location. It would have been nice, if there was some information about the pool location, beach trolley, local restaurants, etc. We weren't familiar with Bethany. And wasted some time, finding these things out ourselves. But had a great trip.

When I arrived, refrigerator not working. I had brought all this food for 11 people. After calling several times, finally a refrigerator technician came and was able to fix it.Grill’s propane tank was empty. Called again and was told that we had to buy a new one and would get reimbursed;Two of the bedrooms did not have closets but shelves. However, the shelves were with pots and pans, even microwave in there, glasses, cups… that is not for a bedroom;One kitchen towel and 3 mitts that where stained and filthy;Loft was supposed to have 2 twin beds and a double pull out couch. Couch was non existent. Called support center but could not help.This house needs updates. It is not for 11 people as stated. No instructions. Sheets on beds and then other sheets in plastic bags. We did not know if sheets on beds were clean or not, if we had to take sheets off beds and put those that were in plastic bags;If we used the microwave or the toaster oven, circuit breaker would tripp every time.I would not recommend this house. Other than be reimbursed for the propane tank, I feel I should be reimbursed somewhat for all these other issues.

Very central to everything downtown. Could walk to Wawa or walk downtown with no real problems.

We absolutely loved this beach home. Excellent location to town. Deceivingly large with lots of room to spread out. Anything you need as far as the kitchen is concerned and so much more. We will definitely be looking to book against next summer. Many thanks for our memories made at your lovely home.

Showed up after check in time (7:00pm) to a dirty house. Cleaners never cleaned from the previous renters. Was told we could not stay while the cleaners came to clean for us. So after a 3 hour drive with an infant and my 70 year old father, who both desperately needed to rest, we had to leave. The whole thing was incredibly inconvenient and unprofessional. The only good thing was the very helpful property manager who did try to help me, she was lovely and professional and this review should not reflect on her but should reflect on the property manager of the property I stayed in.

This is a great home, very close to the beach, the inlet and everything in Bethany. Only a few minor items kept it from rating 5 stars - The top bunk in the bunk bedroom had neither a ladder nor a railing, so no child can sleep there. The dryer needs service - once it warms up, it develops a loud squeal that can be heard throughout the house. The microwave often trips a breaker, and the wifi was spotty. Lastly, the bedspread on the upstairs king bed needs replaced - all of the stuffing has gathered in one side. These small items can be easily fixed, and when they are, this is a 5-star vacation home. Definitely recommend!

This house is cute/cozy, in a great location, and has a great yard but it’s poorly managed and the listing description needs updating. The trash cans outside were overflowing from the previous guests. There are no instructions to work the TVs (each with 2 remotes).. The refrigerator was in “demo” mode and not cooling. There is nothing telling you this and no instructions on how to change it. After finding the error code we figured it out but the service call wasn’t answered until the next day. This could have been completely avoided with instructions posted on the refrigerator. The internet/wifi is terrible. The steps going into the house and the steps inside are pitched VERY STEEP and have short treads- dangerous for kids and elderly. Using the hairdryer in the front BR blew the circuit breaker to the refrigerator and other kitchen outlets so we had to restart our refrigerator cooling saga. No response from the support request. Lipstick/makeup on pillow cases in upstairs bedroom. The lid to the coffee pot is missing the part that depresses the button to release the water into the pot. Realized this after it overflowed. We had to resort to holding the pot up while it brewed. The kitchen is very tight and one burner on the glass stovetop is cracked and has debris remaining from a melted object. If you want to spend the beginning of your time trouble shooting electronics and circuit breakers, this is the place for you.

The price was fair and the house could accommodate a number of guests.

We stopped here for a quick visit to Bethany. The house is in a wonderful location close to the boardwalk and restaurants. You can drive or take the trolley. The house has a ton of potential. It’s a great space that could be amazing with just a few simple upgrades. A binder with notes about the clubhouse, restaurant recommendations, etc. would be great. Also, maybe label some of the light switches. A rolling AC for upstairs and some blinds for the sliding glass doors would also be good additions.

It’s advertised as 2 queen beds, bunk beds, and a king bed. No! There was only one queen and a double (that sagged in the middle). Don’t be fooled! The other beds were comfortable. Cheap WiFi. You can watch one TV or FaceTime someone on your phone. You can’t do both. If they fix these two items (WiFi and put the 2nd queen in) we’d come back year after year forever! Did love that the Bethany Trolley came right by the house!

Great location, close to 2 swimming pools and a play ground. The house is also a short walk to a trolley stop to the boardwalk. The house has plenty of sleeping space and amenities for the whole family. Thanks for a great stay!

Great location. Right on the trolley route. Near activities. Thought that some advanced notice of the fees for the pool would have been helpful. Steps to upstairs are very steep and awkward
