⭐️Best XL Home to visit NYC-✈️EWR Airport-Parking

Host continuously requested money from me with no breakdown after i already purchased stay. Ruined my surprise party after already being planned for months and explained to him the situation. He wasn’t understanding at all , only bought this stay for my surprise party and ended up canceling it because of all the fees he insisted i pay to have it. Was over all upset and felt money was wasted.

The day before our trip he called and started saying all these additional rules , don’t stand in driveway, neighbors complain, keep everyone inside. I asked him to let me cancel because I can see it was already going to be a problem. I explained that it was for my son and his friends and his older sister would be coming to make food and bring gifts and leave. That’s exactly what happened . He had friends come they all ended up leaving . He called me and said I see 18 people in the home, I said I would call the home. My daughter facetime me to show me everyone was coming bringing gifts and leaving. I then called back he was not home but his wife answered saying they are watching the cameras. I asked do you have cameras in the house her claim was no. She said the owner would call me back, he never did. I went to the house at 2:30 am and picked the my son up and checked out at that time. I have never felt so uncomfortable at a home that we rented. He advertised he allows party/events but then stressed us out the entire time. We were more worried about the neighbors and couldn’t even relax.I was not comfortable having my son stay there. He was paid already and I took a loss but it was not worth it. Also the area is sketchy literally a block or 2 from a major highway.

This is a really beautiful trip and well equipped home close to EWR and NYC, which I visited with 2 of my adult kids. Roy is very prompt and clear with communication. I would be happy to return for future trips.

Beyond my expectations :). Just wish the hot tub was ready for use but overall definitely enjoyed my stay

This was my first time booking on this app, this home was very nice and do plan on going back. Just to let everyone know there were no cameras in the house, only the ring and the back yard camera none inside the house

I had a blast on Mother’s Day with my wife and mother in law

I stayed at Roy's place for 5 weeks with two co-workers for a work assignment. Good: Roy was very quick to respond to any request or questions we had, but since he isn't the owner of the house, it didn't seem like he had a lot of control over the construction. The house is recently renovated and the kitchen and shower were great. Two cars easily fit in the driveway. Bad: Upon arrival, we noticed there were cameras inside the house, despite the fact the I had read a previous review where Roy claimed there were no cameras inside. We got VRBO involved and these cameras were moved outside. There was construction happening at the house on and off the entire time we were there. Workers were in the basement many days and they would block the driveway when they were there. We were even asked to move our cars a couple of times. We couldn't keep dust from coming up through the vents into the house from the basement, so the floors were always dirty. The backyard was a mess and covered in construction materials. There's a room downstairs that looks like it'll eventually be a shower, but it was still under construction. It's pretty annoying paying so much for a house that obviously wasn't 100% completed. To clarify though, the workers never entered the two livable floors of the house. The house was not well stocked for staying at longer term. The kitchen has the absolute bare minimum for cooking (just a couple pots/pans and the most basic of cooking utensils). The bedrooms on the front of the house have a ton of street noise. The area isn't great, but none of us ever felt particularly unsafe. Given a little extra work, I feel like this could have been a great place to stay, but the construction and lack of resources in the house meant we did not enjoy our time there.

There was cameras inside the house and I think that’s disrespectful, I could of been walking half naked and there was cameras, I don’t think it’s appropriate.
