Stayed Jul 4, 2025Reached out to the host a week prior to the stay everything seemed in order….the day of arrival it was not, it was difficult to contact the host. The overall stay was an unpleasant experience due to the fact that the place was not prepared properly for having tenants. I understand that it’s a pet friendly place but the description on the app it was nowhere near what my family and I experienced this past weekend. we wanted to do a refund but we didn’t want to ruin our time in Big Bear. I tried reaching out to the host and he did not contact me back once. The most upsetting part was the cleanliness of everything. It was not clean and it looked like the place had been vacant for over six months. It reeked of cigarettes, and there was dog urine, and other stains in one room to the point where we did not even have a use for it we only used one room. we had a clean and refurnish some of the beds to make it even livable and suitable for the weekend like I said I already reached out to the host and he said that he would reimburse me, but he never contact me back so here we are leaving a terrible review.
