Beautiful place. The view from this mountain chalet are breathtaking. Enjoyed our stay and Ms. Perkins supplied us with all our needs. We celebrated our 30th anniversary there and it will be unforgettable.

Great views of Anchorage. Easy access to trail system at end of road Upper Huffman trailhead. If you are a trail runner, numerous routes to run from trail head. Make sure you eat at Moose’s Tooth for incredible pizza. Would have liked to have nicer chairs for setting on balcony and large pot to cook spaghetti.

The place was very nice and clean. But for folks who are not used to all the day light, there is now way to darken the bedroom, to try to get some sleep. Also the couch in front of the fireplace is very uncomfortable. These were the only two issues we had. The view was beautiful and again very nice and clean and roomy.

Great clean place with amazing views

Perfect space for our needs. I only regret that I did not sleep well at all. The bed was not very comfortable, but everything else was great! Love the fire place, kitchen was great, and the view was amazing!!

The suite was the right size for the two of us, heated by a gas fireplace- really liked that, and the views were amazing, you could see all of Anchorage and Denali from there.

We have stayed in many VRBO’s and this was the best place and host so far! It is a beautiful apartment and incredible view of Anchorage! There are 2 trailheads close. We could walk there from the apartment. We were 15 minutes to anything you may need; restaurants, shopping, site seeing, etc. Our hosts were very responsive and kept the stairs and deck clear of snow and ice. We will definitely return. Beautiful property easy access to Anchorage and trail heads.

Our first thought when we opened the door was “wow!” The apartment is near the top of the mountain and the view is amazing. The space is clean and bright and has everything you need, including a guide to the area, which was incredibly helpful. There is excellent hiking very nearby as well. If I could rate this 11/10, I would!

What a perfect location on the edge of town with beautiful views of Anchorage and the surrounding mountains and waters. You could pay twice as much for a one room hotel room in Anchorage and likely have no view at all. The hosts are easy to reach if needed and very kind. My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights and found this place to be exactly what we wanted in Anchorage. Neighborhood is amazing and the views from the bedroom and deck simply cannot be beat. Simply furnished, but not lacking in any details. Would highly recommend this for someone looking for a great place outside downtown Anchorage.

Celebrating my husbands retirement and our 35th anniversary, we found this gem and stayed 5 nights on our first ever visit to Alaska‼. Stunning and magnificent views from Windy’s chalet. She is an incredible host ‼ everything was wonderful ‼ I especially loved the window seat swing and I also loved the 2trailheads that were so close by…..a great place to walk ‼

It wasn’t the most fancy place we’ve stayed, but the amazing sunsets and sunrises, daily views of Denali, and the location were perfect! You do need a 4 wheel drive vehicle if coming in winter or spring as the driveway and road leading up to it is steep and icy.

This rental exceeded our expectations. Incredible view, gorgeous private space. I can not recommend this rental more! 100000/10!

First off, what a view this property offers of Anchorage. Easy check in process which was great because we didn’t get in until about 2am. Used this mostly as a jumping off point while we hiked a glacier, saw the northern lights, dined in downtown Anchorage, and visited Girdwood. Host is kind and responsive. Wouldn’t have done our trip any other way

After we got to this beautiful property, we wish we had longer to stay. We were leaving early the next morning for the airport. It was a beautiful space for a couple or single person. I loved their idea of a cabinet for sharing… Leave some thing and take some thing. Such a great idea that I will be using it in my vacation rentals that I own. I would definitely stay there again, if given the opportunity to come to Alaska!

The property was easy to find, everything was where it needed to be. It was clean and comfortable. We had amazing views of Anchorage and the surrounding mountains. The host was very helpful, especially when I did not have the check-in information from the app which I had not been able to download. Would stay again if we are in the area.

We had amazing views from our garage chalet. The coat one bedroom chalet over the garage was clean and was everything it was advertised to be. It served as our home base for nearly two weeks. The unit is perfect for a couple looking to get away. It is located just a few miles from one of the entrances to the Chugach State Park that had hiking trails and amazing views. Windy was quick to respond to any questions we had. We highly recommend this property.
