Property was in bad shape. House was not clean and had an infestation of gnats. Was supposed to have a Hot Tub and did not. Was supposed to have 4 bedrooms, it was really two and a half. When you get to the Property you find out you have to pay to park. $18 dollars a day per car and $33 dollars a day per person. Not advertised by Owner or Vrbo. When we questioned the host about these discrepancies, He was very rude and mostly would not respond to our questions. For the price of this trip we could of taken a first class cruise! Probably should have. Do your homework on this listing.

Nice clean place with a golf cart that could move 4 people around the gated community. Good price amd easy to check in.

This is our second time staying here and the place was perfect again! The golf cart is a nice plus too.

Nice quiet location Floor was FILTHY! Doubt if it had been cleaned at all this summer. Furniture was fine. Kitchen is rather a hodgepodge; not enough forks to get through one meal. Having the golf cart was great. Space was the right amount but technically not really 3 bedrooms.

Very convenient spot, lots of toys for the kids, golf cart was great. Odd mix of kitchen stuff. Good for 6 people.

Be careful with this property. We were fooled by the overall high ratings, and very disappointed with the condition of this 140 yr old cottage. Overlooking the “charming” uneven flooring, terrible floor plan, stairway without handrails, and older furniture, there is an obvious lack of general maintenance. The online pictures are likely older pictures as the condition of the cottage has deteriorated. The long time owner probably has grown accustomed to the poor condition, looking right past the problem areas. The inclusion of the golf cart is a plus, but it doesn’t make up for the overall poor condition of the cottageThe front porch is in very sad shape. There is a review from September, 2022 stating the porch should be torn down and/or replaced so this is not a recent development. The front patio needs a serious power wash. The bathrooms on the first floor have discolored caulking around the tub, and the trim board at the bottom of the shower is blackened and looked rotten to us. The bedding provided was yellow with age.We pointed out some of these problems to the host, but he told us we should just try to have a positive outlook and enjoy all the activities available within Lakeside. We spent one night in this cottage and left. Also, make sure to add in Lakeside fees when judging the value of staying at this cottage. Our recommendation – skip this cottage and look for something better.

Check-in was simple; golf cart was awesome since we had an elderly parent with us. Wi-Fi was great. The place desperately needs to be professionally cleaned - there was clear evidence that it is not. Also, the bed situation is horrible - it does not sleep 8 people comfortably... maybe 2 adults (as long as they can share the bed in the main floor bedroom) and 5-6 small children - but not the 6 adults and 1 teen that we had in our extended family gathering. Most of us didn't get one single decent night's sleep. Beds were not made when we arrived, tiny/thin mattresses, ancient bedframes that are unstable, no bed-bug protection anywhere. Recommend either keeping the high cost and updating the bed situation and cleaning service, or reducing the cost significantly so guests don't expect a decent night's sleep and/or cleanliness.

A really wonderful stay for our son and daughter and their spouses and 4 young children. They used the rear room with the pullout sofa as a play area. My husband and I chose to stay at a friend’s cottage to give the rest of the family more space.

It was great--it would be nice to have air in the bedroom with the twin beds, but overall it was great.

Our family had a great time for the few days we were there. Had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves especially the golf cart and kids loved the bikes. Had mama deer and two fawns in the back yard when we arrived so that was super cool. Host was really nice and we enjoyed meeting him.

We love staying in the Lakeside community. The golf cart was a huge plus and we really enjoyed it. Finding a four bedroom cottage at a great price was so good for our family of seven. John was wonderful. If you stay there, we definitely recommend getting donuts from the Patio.

We enjoyed our time at this house. The family is growing so we had to extend to a second house and this worked perfect for us. The golf cart was nice to use and having the bedding and towels provided was also very nice! I would stay here again.

Blueberry Hill was perfect for our stay. We had family across the street so we really just needed it for sleeping. The house was clean and provided sheets and towels, which is a real plus at Lakeside! I’ve always had to bring linens. We did not use the pullout couch but I wouldn’t really call that a bedroom. It was perfect for the 5 of us to stay. It would have been tight if 4 more people were with us.

Good property for a Lakeside property but not 4 bedrooms as advertised. The 4th bedroom was the back entry door/mud room to the house. The pull out sofa bed in that room was old, stained, and unuseable..

We had a great time in this cottage. The family who slept upstairs didn't mind that they had to go through one bedroom to get to the second one or that the 2nd bathroom was downstairs. The window air conditioners kept the house very cool. All the appliances were top quality. We appreciated having a washer and dryer, too. The golf cart being included in the rental fee was a huge plus, too.
