BEST LOCATION ON THE MOUNTAIN! Thunder Ridge 3 BR Ski in/Out Condo. Sleeps 8.

This truly is the best location on the mountain. Even though the run home wasnt skiiable this late in the season this year we were still steps away from the base to walk down and back. The house was very clean and fully stocked with everything we could need. Comfortable beds too. We will most certainty stay here again.

The owners occupy the 4th bedroom that is located below the kitchen area/entry stairwell.Long story short: We booked this listing through VRBO as we prefer to have a whole home to ourselves when we travel. Everything was great until about half way into our stay. While out snowboarding we received a random message from the owner that they would be arriving at the property and staying in the basement bedroom. Completely confused as we booked the property for the week. Unknown to us, there is a 4th bedroom on the lower level that the owner uses which is NOT disclosed in the listing. Not only is it not in the listing, they conveniently leave out images of the door connecting the 4th bedroom to the home.We contacted VRBO and they stated this breached their policy and that this should be noted in the listing prior to booking. ***This review is to inform future renters that this listing is not the whole home and that the owners may reside in the basement bedroom during your stay.

Location was absolutely perfect, true ski in/out and the hot tub on the back deck was perfect for unwinding after a day on the slopes! Very clean, spacious and thoughtfully laid out accomodations. The gear room for the ski equipment was an added bonus. Plenty of cookware for eating in. Will definitely stay here again!

Amazing renovated condo with huge bedrooms and living areas. Right on the ski run 100m from the Elk lift for a true ski in ski out experience. The condo came with everything we needed for the perfect White Christmas holiday.Catherine the host was very welcoming, responsive and gave plenty of insights into how to best enjoy our stay at Fernie. We will definitely be returning!

We very much enjoyed our time. Wish we could have had another week. Comfortable beds, great hottub, and steps away from the ski hill. Everything was great.

This was our second time staying here, and we love it. It has everything you need, all in great shape. Clean and comfortable. The location is amazing, true ski in and ski out. The hot tub over looks the ski run. The garage has been converted to an equipment room with racks for your gear including a heater to dry your mitts etc. Super handy. We've been to multiple similar units in the past, this is the first one we've come back to, and we look forward to the next time.
