WE REQUIRE A SATURDAY - TO - SATURDAY, 7-NIGHT STAY DURING THE PEAK SUMMER SEASON (MID-JUNE THROUGH MID-SEPTEMBER)!

Enjoy our great lakehouse for waterfront patio BBQs, lawn games, socializing and entertaining, plus the beautiful panoramic view of Chautauqua Lake from the all-windows main sun room/living area, plus the convenience of a short walk or bike ride to the heart of Bemus Point and all its charm!

Our cottage has 5 bedrooms (one with bunk beds for the kids, one with a queen bed, one with a double bed, one with a queen and 2 sets of twin bunks, and a master with a king). Additionally, the sun room has a pull-out twin bed, and there's also a twin daybed with twin trundle in the game bungalow (game bungalow has A/C for summer use, but no heat). We have 4 full bathrooms - one with a stand-up shower and 3 with a bathtub/shower. Central heat and central air conditioning provide year-round comfort.

The fully-stocked open kitchen/dining area offers all of the cooking and food prep equipment and space you would need. Our two indoor dining tables seat up-to 14. The dock offers easy access to fishing and swimming, and an open boat slip with pilings for docking your boat. There is plenty of outdoor furniture, including an outdoor dining table with umbrella, adirondack deck chairs, a full hammock, and a single swing hammock. The summer game bungalow is one of our renters’ favorites – a place to escape to play foosball, darts, or one of the many board games stocked in the cottage. The game bungalow is a perfect bedroom/retreat for pre-teens or teens during their vacation. We keep the house stocked with lawn games and Schwinn cruiser bikes for our renters to use also.

A small, stackable washer-dryer is available. There is off-street parking for up-to 4 cars, plus street-side overflow parking 1 block away.

1/8 mile from the cottage is Bridgeview -- a mini-mart/gas station/liquor-n-beer shop/small deli -- which provides absolute convenience.

Bemus Point and Chautauqua Lake offer unlimited all-year-round vacation activities, attractions, fun and natural beauty for everyone. In the village of Bemus Point you’ll find restaurants, live music venues, boutique gift shops and every land and water recreation you can imagine. The See Zurh House offers family-friendly casual fare; The Fish offers sunset views and great casual and formal dining; Capolo’s pizza shop has delivery service to the cottage, and the Bemus Point Inn is great for breakfast. The best place to enjoy a casual cocktail is from one of the famous colorful rocking chairs on the front porch of the historic Lenhart Hotel – order a “Lenhart Rocker” and watch the sunset. Ellicottville Brewery and the Bemus Point Tap House are great places to enjoy craft beers and pub food. Live music can be enjoyed from several of the venues noted above, or at The Village Casino, home of world-famous chicken wings. These are just a few of many great options in the area.

Enjoy a 9-hole round of golf at Bemus Point Golf Club, access to public tennis courts, or take a bike ride along Lakeside Drive to Long Point State Park. Grab a picnic lunch or an ice cream treat from the Bemus Point Market before you go. When you return spend some time browsing through the many unique shops within the village including The Lakeside Shoppe, Skillman's, and Imagine. Take the kids to the playground at the Village Park or to the public beach.

If you’re itching to get out on the water, power boats, pontoons, paddle boards and jet skis can be rented from several local vendors. In addition, some famous local attractions include the world-renowned Victorian lakeside community of Chautauqua Institution which offers arts and education programming and a variety of cultural classes and events all summer. Historic Midway Park is the 15th oldest, continually operating amusement park in the nation and is perfectly geared for the 5-10 year-old crowd. History and nature enthusiasts will enjoy visiting the Roger Tory Peterson Institute, The Jamestown Audubon Center, The Fenton Museum, The Lucille Ball - Desi Arnaz Center, and the National Comedy Center are all located 20-minutes away in Jamestown, NY...Home of 'Lucy.' Don’t miss enjoying a craft beer at Southern Tier Brewery while you are in the area either.

A unique and rare feature of our cottage is that it offers central heat and central air conditioning for comfortably enjoying all seasons at the lake. Spring and fall offer great hunting and hiking opportunities for outdoorsy types, and magnificent views of the lake and leaves! Winter offers ice fishing, sledding, access to thousands of miles of snowmobile trails, and area skiing at Holiday Valley or Peek n' Peak.

We do not allow pets or smoking - WE DO NOT MAKE EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE. We promise a very clean environment, and conveniently provide linens and towels for our visitors’ use.

We loved staying at Lisa’s lake house! As soon as you walk in you are greeted by the perfect lake view. The photos don’t do it justice. There is so much space and everything is spotless! We all thought the beds were very comfortable. The location is perfect for enjoying the wineries nearby (which were excellent, especially 21Brix), visiting Jamestown with the National Comedy Museum (outstanding - leave yourself plenty of time), the Lucille Ball museum (so much fun!), the Chautauqua Institution (such a beautiful place) and Bemus Point. There are good restaurants nearby and a cute little market in town. We were early season, so we didn’t get a chance to get in the water, but we really enjoyed the large back patio for morning coffee and evening wine, the very comfortable dock chairs were perfect for relaxing. We played games most nights (Lisa has a large selection). All 5 of us agreed it was the perfect lake vacation. We will be back!

We had a great family vacation overall. This review is mainly for any boaters or fishermen considering renting this property and bringing two boats. The property drawing included in the rental agreement shows that two boats can fit at the dock: one in front and one on the opposite side of the owner’s boat lift. However, the front of the dock is only about 9 feet wide, and the owner’s boat needs to remain “accessible at all times.” Just be aware that the drawing may be misleading if you are planning to bring multiple boats. The driveway is narrow and fits about four vehicles. If parking boat trailers is necessary, the owner suggests parking along the side of the service road. We found that area had 2- to 2.5-foot-high weeds, along with a few derelict boats parked nearby, so it was not an ideal place to park trailers. All in all, this was a nice, clean, well-equipped house to rent. Would I rent it again? If we were bringing one boat, yes—in an instant.

Very lovely home with great amenities in the home. No major complaints at all except for the scratchy one ply toilet paper for us old people and bath tubs very slippery with no bath mats or temporary grab bars. Need to think about that for us older folks that really enjoyed your renting your home again. Thank you so much we had great time and you have done a wonderful job with renting out this lovely home!

There were 8 adults. Everything was clean except the shelves on the 2 refrigerator doors had opened condiments not very appetizing. We didnt need to use those shelves because there are 2 refrigerators which is really nice. One other negative we could only sign into 1 tv. The one in sunroom. Couldn't use bedroom tvs. Everything else was perfect. Beautiful view! So many games. Comfortable beds. So convenient to restaurants and boat rental. Wish we woukd have had more time. Hope to go back next yearvif available.

We absolutely love it here. This was our 3rd year staying here and the house is our little getaway on the lake. The owners are lovely, communicative and have this property set up for an amazing fun time at the lake with indoor and outdoor games.

Nine friends, of 30+ years, had a wonderful weekend together. This home is perfect for a large gathering. So much space, clean and everything you could need. There is a beautiful view over the lake to watch the sunrise, lots of games and puzzles and close to entertainment. We would recommend a stay here any time of the year.

The house/property/town had a lot to offer, unfortunately we didn't get to fully utilize all the amenities as we were in town for a wedding. House was a great size and fit our family of 8 perfectly with rooms left to spare. Would recommend this property and stay here again.
