Stayed Dec 24, 2025We loved the property view, peaceful and beautiful. It was an hour away though from town, which was my error when booking. We'd like to see the property in Summer and would come back!

Stayed Oct 24, 2025Amazing place to stay - especially in the fall/winter. Kitchen is fully stocked and just as beautiful as the rest of the house. It's all super dog-friendly and while there is no yard, the house is secluded enough to safely walk the dogs up the street anytime of day. The falls are gorgeous, close by, and a wonderful walk for dogs as well. The power went out for a couple hours and that honestly made it more fun. Power company was on it right away. The house is also prepared for that sort of thing. I loved every single thing about my stay except- the swinging beds took a night to get used to. Sleep movements will swing the bed and possibly wake you up - especially if you have a partner. There's always the futon of the loft beds as alternatives though!

Stayed Sep 19, 2025We really enjoyed our stay overall, the house itself is stunning! The craftsmanship, custom wood details, and peaceful surroundings made it such a relaxing getaway. The sound of the stream, the fire pit, and the big deck were exactly what we were hoping for. The kitchen was well-equipped and had lots of thoughtful touches like condiments and good cookware. That said, a few details in the listing could be clearer. The sleeping arrangements were a bit different than we expected. There aren’t multiple king beds, and the lofts are tricky to access (definitely not ideal for small kids or older adults). The loft areas also just have thin pads on the floor rather than full beds with bedding. The hanging king and queen beds in the bedrooms are really unique and comfortable, but since there’s no headboard, anyone who needs to sleep propped up might want to bring a wedge pillow. Also, bring an eye mask if you prefer sleeping in, there are no window coverings in the bedrooms. One of the showers wasn’t working when we arrived, but the host was responsive and helped us troubleshoot it quickly. All in all, it’s a beautiful property and a memorable experience, just worth knowing a few quirks ahead of time so you can plan accordingly.

Stayed Sep 12, 2025We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home was beautifully rustic with incredible craftsmanship throughout. The remote setting was peaceful and tranquil, making it the perfect getaway. We loved exploring the trails and discovering the waterfall nearby. The unique beds swinging from ropes were such a fun touch, and spending evenings under the stars made it unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene and memorable experience!

Stayed Jul 24, 2025The house was unique and located in a beautiful area next to creek that brought so much joy to the kids as they explored the wilderness. Loved the cleanliness and spacious of the home. The staircase with the tree in the middle was very cool. The swimming beds were loved by the kids but for us adults it felt a bit like being on a boat when trying to sleep but overall a cool experience.

Stayed Jun 23, 2025Such a beautiful place to stay with lots to do! We went in the creek multiple times, sauna, hammock, and hiked the falls. I can tell how much love they put into this place because there is artistry put into every detail. A true hidden gem in the woods.

Stayed Jun 19, 2025This cabin was so peaceful and serene. It almost felt like being in a grand treehouse with the way natural tree trunks were used within the cabin, be it as the center support of the stairs or as the base of the bathroom sinks etc... We loved the beds, suspended from the ceilings by ropes, which gently rocked us all to sleep as we listened to the soothing babbling brook right outside the back of the cabin. We also loved the arched front door, which gave a fairytale vibe. It was truly hard to leave this magical setting which happens to be right down the road from two beautiful waterfalls. We hope to be able to stay again in this truly magical and unique cabin some day.

Stayed Mar 8, 2025We thought the house was beautiful! Well laid out with a well stocked kitchen. We had problem when the electricity went out as the landline didn’t work either. The power company was great and had the power back on after a few hours. It was a little too remote for us, which we are not used to. If you love to sit and read in a beautiful woods it’s a great place.

Stayed Aug 25, 2024This was such a relaxing 2 days! The home is fully stocked with blankets, towels, cleaning, kitchen has NICE cookware, real plates utensils, silverware etc. Most common condiments are in frig and sugar flower etc under cupboard. Nice to light a fire, it was my first and great instructions with supplies all that is needed is there but paper products packaging plates and bags are great to help start the fire. There was no cell service, no internet but that is temporary. I liked that technology was off grid experience. Use their directions to get there its easier than it seems! The beds are fun feels like floating down the river. An adventure in its self! The windows open was like sleeping under the stars and by the river hearing 100% nature. I just loved it. I will go back maybe for special occaision.

Stayed Jul 3, 2024For years I’ve said I was going to find a quiet place away from fireworks for the fourth so my dogs don’t suffer. This definitely fit the bill. Didn’t hear a single firework, just the quiet of the forest. The place is beautiful, well appointed (especially the kitchen) beds are comfortable, everything was perfect. It was hot but the house stayed cool. Creek and falls are beautiful too. Google maps worked all the way to the house. Truly beautiful place. I’ll be back!

Stayed Jun 27, 2024This lodge is magical!!! If you love nature this is a must visit. Once you step out of your car it’s time to relax. Take a steam in the sauna and run to the creek to cool off. Take a nap in the swing bed. Don’t forget your fishing gear lots of places to fishing or charter a crabbing boat for $100 a person in Winchester Bay.
