Stayed Aug 10, 2019This was our favorite place we stayed in Greece!!! LOVED our beach house in Matala, breathtaking views off the balcony and we will be going back? Matala is a little authentic village with all the amenities, super markets, excellent restaurants, live music nightly, a wonderful Mama’s bakery and lots of shopping absolutely AmaZing!!! The locals were so welcoming, friendly and very beautiful…we LOVED, LOVED, LOVED Matala ? A must go to place!!! St Amour Family ~ Canada

Stayed Sep 5, 2018We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment had everything we needed. It was lovely to wake up to the amazing view of Matala Bay. The beach, bars and restaurants are all only 5 minutes walk from the apartment. We are already planning our return! Thank you Manolis! The only downside is that the bars below have DJs or live music until 4am most nights.

Stayed Jun 30, 2018Matala really is special and the two story house was in total, comfortable and with stunning views from each floor and two large balconies. The beds were extremely comfortable and the three bathrooms meant no waiting for a shower. The owner was friendly and attentive when anything required tending to. My one recommendation is that the dear owner consider adding a lounging area- there is no area inside to sit together. The small kitchen had one upholstered chair and that was all for the whole apartment. We grabbed two wood chairs from the balcony so we could sit together at breakfast. What such a great apartment really needs is perhaps a cozy corner banquette seating area in the kitchen and consideration of turning the adjacent bedroom into a bedroom/ living room. Similarly the beautiful upstairs balcony was just begging for some nice loungers. I noticed that the property photos included two rooms which were not part of our rental and which had a sofa. Would I return? Yes, between those views and the comfortable beds, I would indeed.
