Bella Vista House Sorrento and Amalfi Coast - free parking-solarium

Even as a former English teacher, I find myself without enough words to express how much we enjoyed our stay at Bella Vista House. The view was amazing and could easily be seen from every room of the house except the bathroom. During the day, it was a pleasure to relax on either one of the two terraces surrounded by beautiful flowers and watch the cruise ships and the pleasure boats far below the cliffs. At night the lights of the cities below were also stunning. Bella Vista is thoughtfully decorated with both beauty and one’s comfort in mind. From the heated towel rack to the two types of coffee machine, every convenience is provided. The home speaks of a caring persona and truly represents the character of the hosts. Valentina and Umberto took care of us as if we were family: not only did they welcome us with food for our first night and morning and Umberto’s homemade lemoncello (much more delicious than any other we had), but Valentina also texted us regularly to see if we needed anything. When she took a picture of our passports, she noted that my husband would be celebrating his 80th birthday while we were there, and knowing we were far from home and family, texted us that day and asked if she could stop by, arriving with two beautifully decorated cakes. We were both so touched by her thoughtfulness. Our only regret is renting this home is that we know at our age we will never see the Russo’s or their wonderful home again.

Excellent stay. Valentina was so helpful throughout our stay. She made us feel so welcome. The place was fantastic, so clean and beautifully decorated. Our host thought of everything, she even left food in the fridge for breakfast. An amazing place, we can’t wait to come back. Thank you for everything Valentina.

This property owner is as conscientious and helpful as any I have ever experienced. She maintains a spotless property and the view from the terrace is spectacular.

Wonderful views! Host is amazing, so many kind touches, she really has thought of everything to make a visitor enjoy their stay.

This is easily one of the best properties I have ever rented. Stocked with all the amenities including flash lights, umbrellas, and plenty of supplies to cook a great meal. The view from the deck is like something out of National Geographic, with the view of the coast and its neighboring towns. The apartment is wonderfully decorated and designed too. Valentina is such a kind and caring spirit who is always there to give you advice on where to go, eat, and sightsee plus how to get there. While we were there, the restaurant closest to our apartment was closed our first night so Valentina met us at the train station and took us to the grocery store.Meta and Piano are beautiful towns well worth your time. Pompeii is 30 minute train ride as well. I hope toy return.

We loved staying at this 3 Level apartment! It was beautifully decorated and had many amenities…Even bug spray! V Spent nearly an hour with us when we first checked in and gave us a great rundown on the area as well as tips and advice for getting places. We were able to walk to a close bus stop to go into the nearby town.l and explore the many shops and cafes. we also walked up a small hill to a beautiful outdoor restaurant overlooking the city upon her recommendation. Highly recommend!

Valentina, the host, thought of most every detail from eggs in the fridge to toiletries in the bathroom. The interior is colorful and pleasant. The views from the main room, bedroom, deck and rooftop are all spectacular with the best sunsets and coastline view! The parking may be difficult for some with bad knees or disability walking. There are many steps from parking to the unit and a spiral staircase to the bedroom. However, even my husband with bad knees would stay here again on a return visit! It is also only about 30-45 min from Pompei and well located for local sights. We Highly recommend, the host is very helpful and friendly! Elizabeth V

First off Valentina and her family were AMAZING!! They were os sweet, accommodating, and helpful with suggestions! This was the perfect location for us as we wanted to spend one day in Pompei, one day on Capri and one day driving the coast. We had a car which made reaching all of these places so easy and Pompei and the ferry stop are so close to the unit and Sorrento is at one end of almalfi, which allowed us to go out and turn left and spend the day exploring. Having the parking space was amazing! The unit is decorated so beautifully and Valentina truly thought of everything! Keep in mind there are a lot of stairs to reach the unit; it was totally fine for us, but if stairs are a challenge, it might not be the best unit for you. We loved this unit and found it perfect!

This was a wonderful location . Everything was perfect the host does such a great job making you feel at home . Sunset from the patio is breathtaking. Beautiful location excellent parking . A dream really . Would love to have had more time here .

This apartment is very elegant and the views are breathtaking. We appreciate the helpfulness and hospitality of Valentina, her husband and daughter. They thought of everything we’d need and made sure we were finding our way around. There’s a small supermarket and a few restaurants within walking distance. We chose public transportation, but if I had it to do all over I’d probably opt for a personal driver. We are not experienced drivers in Italy and chose not to rent a car or scooter. Public transportation was okay, but it took a good portion of our day just trying to get to and from the apartment. Also, the last bus picks up at 8;40pm. Overall we had an everlasting memorable stay and highly recommend this rental. Thank you Russo family! Blessings to you all ❤️.
