Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third stay at this property, and unfortunately, it will be our last. Each year we’ve tried to give the house another chance, but it’s the neighbors that make the experience unpleasant.The way the home is built, with shared fence lines and open sightlines, means there is essentially no privacy—inside or out. From the road you can see directly into the bedroom unless the windows are fully covered, and we had to keep the bedroom windows closed at all times because the neighbors are in direct eyesight into the rooms. Even something as simple as getting dressed feels exposed.Adding to that, the constant sound of the neighbors’ barking dog from sunrise to sunset makes it difficult to relax. They don’t make any attempt to quiet their dog—in fact, the dog stands on a chair in their back bedroom, where they all seem to congregate, and barks directly at you whenever you’re in the backyard. At the same time, the neighbors keep their windows wide open on that side of the house, smoking nonstop, with the odor drifting into the home and yard. The cigarette smoke almost seemed to be on cue every time we stepped outside, making it impossible to enjoy the backyard or even the hot tub without feeling watched and uncomfortable.The house itself is fine—there aren’t any major issues with the interior. But privacy matters, and this property has none. A taller privacy fence or some design changes could have made a big difference, but as it stands, the combination of exposure, barking, smoke, and difficult neighbors makes the stay unenjoyable.We won’t be returning.

The backyard especially. Walking distance to everything in downtown, location can't be beat. Everything was clean and well maintained, and customer service was top notch! Do it!

Plenty of room for the 2 of us, we only used the back bedroom. All of the amenities, more than most. We loved sitting at the firepit in the morning and evening. Swang on the porch bench with our coffee and always relaxed in the hot tub after a day wine tasting! Clean and well-stocked. And let's not forget location-location-location! Perfect, SO close to the Paso Wine Walk, great coffee shops, restaurants and all of downtown. Or you can walk in the neighborhood towards the hills to burn off all of your indulgences :) We certainly will stay here again.

Great location, clean, back yard was plus. Hot tub and fire pit were a nice way to end the evenings!

Loved our stay in this charming bungalow close to town. Everything we needed was here! Wished we could have enjoyed the firepit and hot tub but the rain kept us indoors. We had cozy blankets, comfy beds, stocked kitchen and great coffee while listening to the rain on the roof. Got local yummy take out and watched movies with our paso wines.

We were looking for a nice place to stay close to downtown and pet friendly. This location checked all the boxes. It had everything you could ask for including a washer and dryer and jacuzzi. It had a nice size yard for the dogs to roam around and the neighborhood was very quiet. You are close enough to walk downtown and it’s a nice walk if the weather is nice. I definitely recommend the property but suggest it only for a couple or family as there is only one small bathroom.

Comfortable beds and cute decor. We enjoyed having the hot tub in a fenced in yard so our pooches could hang out safely.

We came with our friends. Had a nice time. Enjoyed how centrally located the home is. Like others stated, there is a lot of road noise.

We came to Paso Robles to ride road bikes, and we found this property to be perfect for what we needed. It’s within easy walking distance of Downtown, the house was neat and clean, and there was a nice hot tub and grill in the back yard. It’s located on a main street, so we did hear a fair amount of traffic noise, but really only during the commuting hours.

The hot tub was great in the evenings. The bed linens & towels were nice quality. Cons: The backyard has a lot of spiderwebs & debris. This is an old house, the doors don’t really stay closed (fine for a couple but could be weird if staying with friends.) Old house smell, very small rooms, does the job for a place to stay but don’t be expecting to be wowed. There is a lot of street noise, sort of sounds like you’re staying on a highway. There are sound machines in each room to help with this issue but if you’re a light sleeper, probably not the best! Overall, we had what we needed to stay. We liked the closeness to downtown but for almost $400 a night, I was sadly not impressed.

Property was clean and had ample things to do in the back yard including a hot tub. Didn’t feel very private though as there were houses surrounding the property and on a busy street. However we enjoyed our short stay!

Couldn’t beat the location. Short drive to town center, but walkable to a really cute public market with fun food, wine, coffee options. Was too hot to use the hot tub, but would have been perfect had the weather cooperated.
