Belclare - Vineyard Estate

Belclare sits on nearly five acres of vineyard at the northern tip of the Leelanau Peninsula. A 1909 Craftsman farmhouse paired with a 2020 addition, offering five bedrooms plus extra sleeping space, three full baths, and room for everyone to gather or spread out.

On the main floor of the farmhouse, quarter-sawn oak trim, bird's-eye maple accents, original stained glass fixtures, and wide hardwood floors set the tone. Gather around the dining room's built-in buffet, relax in the heatedsunroom porch, or cook a full meal together in the main kitchen. Also on the main floor is a flex room with a TV and gathering space or use as a bedroom with a queen sofa bed and its own full bath.

Upstairs, you'll find three more bedrooms and a full bath. One bedroom has a king bed and a crib for guests traveling with little ones, and two more each have a queen bed. There are also two additional queen beds in the upstairs common area for larger groups.

A light-filled hallway connects the farmhouse to the 2020 addition, home to a tasting room with a contemporary sitting room, a soapstone kitchenette, and a wet bar. This all flows onto the patio through two foot bifold doors that allow you to open the wall for a indoor outdoor experience. Up in the tasting room's loft is one more queen bed and a futon on the main level.

Outside, there's a back patio with a gas grill, a hammock, and a fenced yard for pet-friendly stays. Fast Spectrum internet and air conditioning keep things comfortable, and at night, the dark skies here make for some of the best stargazing in northern Michigan.
