Washington, Missouri
Inside the historical Locust Street District of Downtown Washington, Missouri, the Beekeeper's Cottage is rumored to have had Auggie Bush as a frequent visitor when the Cottage first opened as a vacation rental in the 1900s.
The Beekeeper's Cottage is a part of the exclusive collection of Missouri Haus vacation rental homes. Bring your mom and sisters for a wine country getaway, ride the Katy Trail, or celebrate a wedding at one of the nearby wedding venues. The Beekeeper's Cottage is in the heart of WashMo and Missouri wine country and less than an hour from St. Louis.
On the National Register of Historic Places as a part of the Locust Street Historical District, the renovated 1920 historical home is fully updated with modern amenities. With 3 bedrooms and 2-1/2 bathrooms, it sleeps a total of 8 people in 4 queen beds.
Over a century old, the fireplaces (nonworking), doors, woodwork, and hardwood floors have been refurbished, adding a beautiful charm to this brick home.
The Beekeeper's Cottage is dog friendly for pre-approved dogs only.

Dogs are welcome in the yard, but not in the hot tub or swimming pool.
GAME ROOM ABOVE GARAGE
The game room above the garage is not included in the listed rate but is available for an additional charge of $50 per night plus a $35 cleaning fee. The rate is times the number of nights of your stay even if you use it for only one night.
The game room can be added to your stay and is available to both the Beekeeper's Cottage and the Mill Haus on a first-come-first-serve basis. It will not be shared, but the 1/2 bath in the garage is available to all guests using the swimming pool.
EXCLUSIVE USE OF THE HOT TUB, POOL, GAME ROOM, and BACKYARD
Exclusive use of the hot tub, heated swimming pool, game room, and backyard is only available when you book both the Beekeeper's Cottage and the Mill Haus together -- the houses together are referred to as the Bees Knees.

One of our favorite places to stay in Washington! Every detail is bee oriented and ties the house together. The home is a vintage feel but with updated elements. Beds are comfy, shower pressure is great, and the hosts go above & beyond on making sure you are welcomed (we had a charcuterie board & bottle wine welcoming us!). 10/10 recommend!!
I cannot say enough good things about the Beekeepers Cottage. We did a girls trip and stayed only one night - but we all felt like VIPs from the minute we booked until the minute we left! Communication was immediate (I had several questions), we were able to check in early and leave a little later, which was so great because we arrived by train. When we arrived, we had a bottle of wine and a gorgeous charcuterie board waiting for us. The house was beyond adorable, and there were so many amazing little touches that made us feel like this was not only a wonderful place to stay, but like we had gone back in time. The beds were incredibly soft, and the bedroom set up was perfect. So thankful for the wonderful memories we made there. Even though we stay just one night! Thank you, Nick and team for the excellent experience!!!!
We stayed at this listing for my mother-in-law's birthday and it was fantastic! The house was gorgeous, the host was wonderful and very responsive - the gifts they provided us were so kind and thoughtful. The pool was clean and made for the perfect weekend. We had a great time and it made for a wonderful weekend away!
Stayed here with a few friends over Labor Day weekend. The home was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the pool. Lots of nice extra touches from the owner - like leaving us a welcome gift of a charcuterie board, bottle of wine, and packet of coffee. Appreciated that there were beach towels for the pool and a float available as well. House is walking distance from the little downtown and river area. My only watchout is to look closely at all the extra charges on top of the room rate, they quickly add up so review carefully to avoid surprises.
We loved our stay there! Granted we did luck out and we rented just 1 of the two homes that shared the pool and it just so happened that the other house was not rented so we had the pool to ourselves. It was so very relaxing there. We tacked on the game room so we did that in the evenings too. Super great place to stay. 4 of us stayed: 2 adults and 2 older children. Not sure if I would recommend for younger kids. Not that there are any safety issues just the house has some cute décor that would be very tempting for little hands to grab. Also the bedrooms are all upstairs and the stairs are that of a historic home, so if you have issues with steps also maybe not the easiest place to stay. But for my family it was great: plenty of room, lots of amenities, gift basket of treats from the area, etc. Also, we did not bring out dog but there was a cute basket of doggies items to make your fur-baby feel right at home too!
This is the second time we have stayed at one of Nat and Tyanns properties. They are excellent hosts responding immediately to any communication. Ashley let us know as soon as the property was available for checkin and then messaged back to see if there was anything we needed. The properties are immaculately cleaned and absolutely gorgeous. The minute we stepped into the house it felt like home. The home is decorated beautifully all the way down to each tiny detail. We stayed in the property with the swimming pool and totally enjoyed ourselves. The neighborhood is very quiet and with the yard being completely fenced and the beautiful landscaping, we truly felt like we were on vacation. We talked about Renting this property again for a “girls” family reunion, it would be perfect. We visited the downtown area and actually met the neighbors across the street at the antique shop. Everyone downtown was extremely friendly. We had a small issue with one of the doors and when I contacted Nat he responded immediately. A maintenance man arrived quickly and fixed the situation and he too was so friendly and easy to talk to. My mom and I would highly recommend these properties whether you are a small or a large group. These properties are definitely the first ones we will check when we return to Washington.
Used this property as a home base during the MO Cheese Festival. 2nd time renting properties in Washington from this owner. Everything as advertised. Solid communication. Easy Check-In process. Really a beautifully restored historic building. Quiet neighborhood. Only wish the weather had been warmer to use the pool.
This house was perfect for a weekend getaway. The hosts checked on us through text when we arrived and promptly answered any questions. The house was super clean and super cute. Great for adults and kids. The pool and hot tub are wonderful. You will enjoy every minute of this place. We were literally looking for another time to be able to come back as we were relaxing by the pool!
This house is beyond works! Simply stunning and great location! Perfect for girls trip or family trip! Must see this property!
The property was perfect place to gather with Sisters and Nieces for a birthday weekend. We loved the location and proximity to the coffee shop, restaurants and wineries! We also loved all of the historic touches and decorating details in the home.
