All homes in Oceanside, CA sit behind a rock barrier protecting the homes from storm surges. The amount of sand beyond the rock barrier varies quickly with storms and tides and may have more or less sand than what is shown in the photos.

For your convenience, we provide a starter kit of essential items to get your stay off to a comfortable start. This includes a small supply of dishwashing pods, laundry pods, paper towels, tissues and toilet paper. Please note that these items are provided as a courtesy and are not intended to last for the entire duration of your stay. Guests may wish to bring or purchase additional supplies as needed.

    It is right at the beach. Some of the appliance did not work: coffee grinder and coffer maker. Some concern on safety as the side walk/ stairs open directly to public which allow access to the two master bedrooms. Therefore, the master bedrooms glass slide doors to the backyard need to be locked. However, these slide doors are facing directly to the ocean making it difficult to enjoy fully the openness to the ocean.

    This a great place and a great location. Not too close to the downtown area, with a garage, and big rooms. We booked it to celebrate one of our daughter’s birthday over the long weekend and had a blast.

    Nice, roomy house, well appointed with kitchen and bath stuff, INCREDIBLE location. No sandy beach but you can climb down the rocks to the ocean at low tide. Great patio, bbq, hot tub. Highly recommend.

    Our recent girls' weekend at this Oceanside duplex was an absolute blast, and we can't recommend it enough! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and incredibly enjoyable.The host's communication was top-notch, even before we arrived. They were super responsive and helpful with all our pre-trip questions, and it was so thoughtful of them to check in on us during our stay. It really made us feel well looked after.The duplex itself was a fantastic find. We loved that it was set back from other properties, giving us a little extra privacy for our much-needed relaxation. The bedrooms were incredibly spacious, offering plenty of room for all of us to spread out comfortably. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the essentials, and the welcome coffee and snacks were such a sweet touch – perfectly fueled our first morning!One of our favorite perks was enjoying our morning coffee and evening wine from the balcony, with lovely views of the water. While it's good to know this is a duplex with a shared, but clearly divided, outdoor space, we had absolutely no issues with the other guests during our stay – it felt completely private.The location couldn't have been better. We were just a short stroll from the pier and some fantastic restaurants, making it easy to explore and enjoy the local scene.     The view is great but beyond that- there’s not much left to desire. The cleaning lady was still there when we arrived for checked in- which felt uncomfortable. Upon walking in, the place looked tidy, but not necessarily clean. Corners were dirty, and one of the duvet covers appeared to have a very recent and fresh stain on it. The house has been converted so there are some strange features in it. Seems as though they cut a lot of corners. There are light switches that don’t work, holes in the wall leading to interior parts of the home, old windows, sinks that don’t work and doors that are very difficult to lock. All of this might have been ok- because of the location, but unfortunately we had a very scary incident on our 2nd night. The neighborhood that the house is in is not the safest- therefore security should be of utmost importance for the property management company- Beachfront Only. There is little to none in terms of safety beyond doors with locks- many of which are very challenging to close. The second night an unknown man came into the home through a slider on the floor level. He came in screaming and yelling- it was terrifying. He was reluctantly chased away and police were called, however, unfortunately he was never apprehended. We travelled with children and felt completely unsafe so decided to leave early. We realize that this is not the home owner nor property managers fault and they came to check on us- however- there has been little recourse. Disappointing.

    We loved, loved! this location. Oceanside is easy access to greater San Diego, and we were on the beach. Beautiful waves, sunsets. The outdoor area is superb. Staff were a bit challenging to get help with property issues, though only a couple things came up. Light out front door was out, never fixed, and coming down stairs at night- used my phone. We had an unfortunate issue wiht front door locking us, in, as opposed to out. Fixed that night after multiple calls. You will love this location, but ensure staff are ready to address any issues with property when you book it.

    Amazing location right on the waterfront with beautiful views and the sunset. Plenty of space in the backyard with the ocean as the backdrop. Close to restaurants and bars. Only downside was no direct access to the sand from the backyard.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Oceanside. The accommodations were adequate. We were very disappointed with the number of broken and poorly maintained furnishings. Aaron, the maintenance person who fixed the major items we requested repaired was a rock star and single-handedly saved our trip. He even found two more chairs for our 8-person group. Contrary to the listing description, this property does not have easy access to the beach. The stairs are broken and inaccessible. This property has amazing potential, with some better maintenance and TLC, it would be an absolute gem.
